Overall - lockdown countries suffered worst.

Excess deaths for the US and UK were substantial higher than in previous years. Unless you can provide a reputable source showing otherwise then that is what the actual data shows.

Of course in general countries that had stricter lockdowns suffered worst, they had stricter lockdowns because they were suffering worse.

It is interesting that Johns Hopkins participated in, indeed they hosted, Event 201.

And it turns out this whole thing was planned for years. Johns Hopkins must have had some role in the planning, considering that they hosted the dry run that was Event 201.

I made the mistake of not considering the obvious.

But two days ago, I came across an article from a whistle-blower stating the U.K. equivalent of our CDC was reporting tens of thousands of deaths in two categories. i.e. Some disease and Covid-19.

It then occurred to me how easy it is for a government agency to simply add numbers to reports. They're the top of the totem-pole. Accountable to Congress, but Congress is impotent and lazy.

The Director of our CDC told Congress in July 2020 that Medical people were forcing non-Covid illnesses and deaths into the Covid category, because they got money from the Government ( Cares act) per patient or deceased. He shocked them so badly with that answer, they quickly moved to the next question.

I'll see if I can find that article online again. It was United Kingdom based.

so you can see how some trust sources when they think the data reflects what they want to see, it’s interesting you are able to recognize that in others, but not yourself. What’s wrong with a healthy amount of skepticism (you oddly put that trait in your name, have you forgotten how it works?).

Why does the authority of the CDC mandate we accept all data presented by them unquestioned? Do they not have unchecked authority in directing covid policy which has impacted every single American? This blind allegiance has no foundation in science or “good” science as others have defined it in this thread. When you need medical advice, do you accept the first drs opinion and start diagnosis? Or do you try and get a second opinion? Show some skepticism!

Seems if you cherry pick you average years you can make the numbers appear worst.

whole video is a good review of the bad government reaction but the death statistics information starts at 11:25.

2020 is above the 5 year average but below the 10 & 15 year average.

Isn't that just precious? Is it not common knowledge an untold
number of whistle blowers reported that hospitals were taking advantage
of the cares act? Inflating the number of covid deaths across the country?

So that being the case. Of course any dumb ass is going to make sure the
numbers match on all other related demographics. So tell me how is it "Good

The peculiar thing about evidence is it has no bearing on the truth of any
particular matter. That is to say that if something is true? Gathering evidence
to prove it doesn't make it any more or any less true. So to conclude that
the claim is false In this political climate? Whereby covid was born. And was
key to one political party's bid to unseat the POTUS of that time?

A fiasco we all saw and it can't even be argued. But see that isn't "Good science"

You've just taken a year on year change in deaths, whilst ignoring the fact that Covid could be marked on the death cert in cases where it was not confirmed (as per govt guidelines), ignored that the deaths this year do not show the same increase when looking at a longer-term trend and ignored that the lockdown itself could be responsible for excess deaths.

You've provided no thought at all, no critical analysis of the numbers at all, whilst blindly believing the numbers form a govt agency and falsely positioning those numbers as the last word on the debate.

You've basically spent the whole thread shilling for the British and US govts.
