Wait.... So "anytime some new emission is found to be emanating from Uranus, it certainly makes a stink in the scientific community"?

But in all seriousness it's the first time x rays have been detected on the Ice Giants, they're detected elsewhere in the Solar System. Just shows we're still learning.

I thought it was interesting they discovered this by looking back through snap shots from 2002-2017...makes you wonder how much other things they've missed or haven't even gone through yet.

I think most people don't understand the scale of our solar system because of how every single classroom has depicted the solar system. In reality it's so big and spread apart, anything could be out there. I believe it's much more active than what we perceive it to be.

Awesome news!

However I always quiver and have detailed flashbacks when I see “Uranus” in a title.

Quick side story:
I got a UFO report sent to me that was titled : They said they came from Uranus
Usually HQ flags and deletes these types of reports during QAQC.
Well, not this time.

I had heard they detected large amounts of methane there. I have always been amazed that Uranus is on its side. There is a theory that billions of years ago, something plowed really hard into Uranus. The only way to really know is to send a probe deep iintp the core of uranus to see what’s really inside there.
