She's awesome. Her and James Taylor have some duets that were amazing. So many great acts from that era. There is some new generation doing covers that are actually impressive, check out a few of them.

No argument there, some of my best party times were in Canada with amazing people. I actually headed over there when I was 19 every weekend, because the US was still 21, and I also had an amazing Canadian girlfriend. I was 15 minutes from the US-Canadian Boarder.

I am going to guess that BC is not in isolation but for me
Two weeks in a hotel (government authorised facility) then on to no lockdown, freedom, normal social activities, no masks, pubs open, dancing, sport and concerts, no brainer for me

Well that ought to be wonderful for business and tourism. Perhaps Trudeau ought to build a wall on the Canadian American border, you know keep those nasty Americans out. The reality is this is just to force people to get vaccinated #1 and of course control and manipulate #2.

Used to be loads of businesses busy on both sides of the border, this kills that and all for a Tr of 1.1 literally epiforecast has countries just.2 points lower as likely decreasing. Let's all remember the only reason everybody freaked out last year they thought COVID was gonna be consistently at 4.0 and higher, it was for about 2 weeks and it's been hovering around the 1.3 and we are acting like it's devastating.

the problem is people can not afford to do it. it's fine the government wants to do it, but the government needs to pay for it. seriously $300-$400 per day ($4,200- $5,600, for 14 days, and i believe that is per person) is price gouging at it's finest. and highly insane that it is even considered remotely feasible for all but the richest of people. they need to just do as they have been doing for so called refugees and illegal immigrants for years now, and pay for the hotel stay. i am very serious, there is no way in hell i could afford this. which brings up the point of just what will they do if you say "sorry, i can't pay for it?

It's a temporary thing, until our #s go down..we are screwed, half living. Right now, the border is not supposed to be open to non essential..but one could fly in. My point is they dont really want any coming up for a quick visit. Here in BC, they just shut down all indoor dining, fitness clubs, bars..I guess?

We do have a few distilleries making award winning whiskey, one in Alberta, and recently one on Vancouver Island, both have had action taken by the Scotch Whiskey Association, the island distillery was using Scottish "words" ..one of them..his own name..lol When you get that kind of attention, your probably doing something right.

Not so here in QLD mate. Some bloke in Brisbane tested positive, so I have to wear a mask 1200 km away in NQ or face a $200 fine. The entire state of QLD is now under mandatory mask law. Stupidity at its finest. Bloody Sydney is closer to Brisbane than I am.
