Loved the 'militant look' on her face as she made her pronouncement. Some folks would be back to mud huts inside of two generations if no one with money helped 'em.

Not even close...the cost of prison stay alone makes it a losing investment...for every 1 who doesn't do drugs because of the risk of prison there is for sure more than 2 willing to risk it. Just look at the numbers incarcerated for drugs, then realize that's only those who got caught. You could at least double the number for those who didn't get caught, but honestly I think it'd be more than double.

It is also not society's problem that someone decided to make poor choices. Or are we going to make everyone pay for all the bad choices of every citizen here? If we are going to pay for poor choices with drugs why not cover everyones poor choices everywhere for anything?
