I've noticed the headlines are heavy with Prince Charles and he wife as of late. I'm just not sure why in the US anyone gives a rats ass about these folks. They have no political pull in the US that I know of, and I don't know that they have any pull in England. It's a silly system that has outlived it's time, yet it seems the world is enamored with these people who have zero clue about what normal life is like.

Maybe I'm missing something, if so, I'd love to be set right. If I should care, please let me know why. thanks.

I saw the title and I thought you meant the Kansas City Royals.

I actually care more about them then the ones from the UK and as a Yankee fan I don't care about Kansas City at all.

I certainly don't.

I haven't heard a word about them in years, until yesterday suddenly an old friend started telling me about how much he doesn't care about them.

Which is VERY confusing from my point of view, since.... nobody seems to care.

I guess if the man on the big TV says to care there's probably a reason. Like a distraction, maybe.

I've often wondered that too.
About the only thing more useless than royalty is testicles on a priest.

It has to do with jellied eels and tea. Also a type of clothing called, "A crumpet". I think it's a type of hat.

I think Megs should just get a job at Burger King now since they're hiring wimmin (weirdos). It's the closest she'll be getting to royalty at this point.

Is the baseball team still allowed to use that name?

I thought that was some sort of forbidden appropriation.

They should have been cancelled by now....

Fine with me, they're like MLB's appendix.

The answer is probably the same as in Canada.
They don't.

For the most part people don't really care that much about them, but the MSM tells us they do for whatever reason.

Just speaking overall in general, of course there are many who are interested or they love a juicy scandal but for the most part I think the majority of people couldn't care less about them.

Think of it like the whole Biden thing. We're told he got 80 million votes and most of American wants him as President, yet he can't fill a town hall with spectators or get over 5000 views on YouTube.

Maybe I'm wrong but personally I've never spoken to anyone who has any care about them at all, myself included but I believe the media makes it seem they are far more popular then they really are.

The same reason people read TMZ. Who gives a crap about ANY celebrities?

Gossip and fame following for the simple minded.

Because, the USA is still a commonwealth colony of the Crown. The Revolutionary War was not as told, since everything that has happened from 1776 to now points to our subject citizen status instead of the sovereign individual American nationals as put forth in our ratified law, the Bill of Rights, the Amendments to the Constitution, set on fire from 1871ish to now, as we are forced to eat the ashes.

I find it humorous when anything happens to make the royals look less godlike in the eyes of their subjects.
