Seems the only issues are who, how, which way, when, where....and all must fit everyone elses criteria for "normal".

We have no right to tell anyone or judge but we do all have a judge and he has definite rules. He is Who He Is and he does not let his laws be broken. When the time comes we will all face that judge.

Most people I've talked to seemed to undermine the negative aspects of porn so much that they sounded to me to be in complete denial of its real influence on them.

Coming from someone (me) who tend to push everything to the extreme, I can tell you my own conclusions on what porn is all about.

Depending on the way you interact with it, there are multiple benefits you can obtain from consuming it. For example, you can work on your mental aptitude and also increase your sexual skills in a way. There are other examples but in end game is that it is evil and absolutely not worth it.

Why, you ask?
Well, first because sex is ultimately an act of love and in this case it is done only for money. Furthermore, the negatives implications behind it easily outweights the positives. When you consume porn on a daily basic like most people do, you let yourself be influenced more and more by the b-ll# that comes with it and eventually become deviant. We all do.
So, there comes a point where it doesn't affect you in the same way anymore, just like a drug would do, and that's when you start to watch some #ed stuff.

If you can believe this, I suceeded in letting go of porn and it took years of work since it's so addictive. One thing that helped me in the end was to choose the sexiest pornstar for my taste and stick with it. Best choice I've made in this regard. The reason why I erased porn from my life is because it affects relationships negatively and all the energy you put into those random girls is lack of commitment to the girl you love. The more you commit to someone willingly, the more desire you will experience.

And in the end, using your own imagination is so much better and healthy. You just forgot it.

Pornography is a growth industry, not that many of them left around, or soon to be the case.

As to the morality of the situation, that matters little as supply and demand will inevitably wag the dogs tale.

Better that its at least out in the open and regulated to a fashion rather than the alternative i suppose.

Yes, there are some people who get addicted. What else is new? Most of us can drink alcohol and not turn into alcoholics just like most people can fantasize about a romp with a porn star and not have it affect their life.

Honestly, the only thing that freaks me out about porn online is some of the weird sh*t some people are into...

Do you think it has been any different than the last million years? Female monkeys have sex with as many males as they can to get the best sperm, and the males have no issues either, so I don't think humans are that much different outside of our social norms holding us back.

So what is the addiction rate 1%? I think it may lead to less relationships and we see that in Asians countries as males have found more fun in porn and video games than real girls who can be difficult to say the least. In Japan they have a name for that type of male...But hey speaking of Japan how about their 60 years of old men having sex with school children in the form of comic books, when I lived there they littered the highways and you can buy them in any 7-11.

The internet in general is allowing people to pull away from others physically, and if a male decides they don't want to deal with the real females who cares....

Lol, we are all related at one point and our social norms drive what is right or wrong in our sexuality, but our brains and bodies don't always agree... The OP is saying due to porn there is more child abuse and I'm saying it is the same or even less than in the past when child abuse was normal. Come forward as society changed it just became hidden, and not like it slowed down. Now we have the internet world wide connection and we see more, but are just seeing something that has always been there no more or less than before?

Serious answer, we don't have a real clue as to what the future human race will care about if we are honest.

I mean we can guess, but chances are we will be somewhat off the mark, and given our limited longevity never mind capacity for error where fortune telling is concerned, well im sure you can appreciate the predicament.

You do know there are more humans on the planet than rats right...lol The only large animal more than humans are chickens and we breed them to eat.

It is estimated we will hit 11 billion by 2100 and then stall out as economics drives many times how many kids we have. Saying that not everyone needs to breed on our planet.... So many today are not getting married or have kids. Marriage is the worst contract in history that is not needed, and kids are not a part of what many want to do in life these days. What this means is it really doesn't matter for many of them if they ever have a physical relationship...Seems many don't want to...

Don't worry about the human race dwindling in numbers anytime soon.

Alright I will be serious, I personally think the ape to man theory as holes and don't ascribe to it though I do see the vast genetic similarity and that some species of apes are all too human like for comfort such as Chimp's.
However I believe that long before chimp's were supposed to exist something too much like a modern human for chance seems to have existed based on out of place artefact's such as these.
