If I had immense power and could see everything?? My goal would be to convince everyone to treat others the way they want (or would want their beloveds) to be treated.

Roof, food, shelter, clothing, clean water, health care, education.

Do you see it? This is the basic human dignity you and I believe
every human being deserves. Just because no human being deserves
to be with out human dignity. Now you and I and at least one other
member who has posted in this thread. All three of us would use
our power in a benevolent way towards humanity. We would love to
leave this world in better shape than we found it. I think it's safe to
say?

So how is it the world is for the most part vacant of powerful people
like us? Why are there no people with the power to do what you just
said you would do. That share our benevolence towards our fellow
human being?

Well it all started in 1963. And I've been seeing lie after lie my whole life ever since. But I'm not gonna hold your hand and show you a bunch of arguing points. Not when you have to pay attention and find out for yourself anyway. Far as I'm concerned you can choose to be blind or a seeing eye dog either one. It's up to you.

I hope it's okay if not everybody sees the world like you do?

Well, you're not inspiring much confidence that you know what you are talking about. The basic issue here is that I do not accept your "fact" that you know anything in particular or that you can discern when you have been lied to. You are dancing around this point in a less than convincing manner. How do you know? After repeated attempts at asking it's obvious you are either avoiding the question, or you simply don't know. I also categorically reject the idea that you even know how I see the world. I am a lot older than you (Yes, really) and I see no evidence that you are particularly erudite in this area. Unfortunately, proclaiming over and over and over again that you "have been lied to" does not contribute to the conversation in any meaningful way. There is no substance to your argument.

You've been "lied to." OK, we get it. There is no Santa Claus. I'm sure that was very damaging to your psyche and caused PTSD. Deal with it.

Problem is, once you give someone enough power to be able to give everyone these basic necessities... is that they become corrupt and greedy themselves.

So in the end nothing changes...basic selfish human nature dictates, every time... no matter how genuine the intentions were to begin with.

Attention everyone please notice? For those who are interested!
This is an example of one of the great many lies we have been
led to believe. Give this members retort some lengthy thought?
More so the bottom half. Looks like just a thought the member
had on his own does it not? But I know it isn't true for me. This
is the kind of trash we've been led to believe about ourselves
that isn't anything close to true.

The problem is that you have no substance at all. You easily proclaim, "You're a liar!" and then you stop. That's not a convincing argument. It's completely empty. Your answer is a complete vacuum. Is that all you've got? Good Lord, man, come up with SOMEthing. After your proclamation that you've been lied to all I hear is crickets.

I'm inclined to agree with you. At least, that's the party line. But I don't have to like it! :-)

I concur, Captain!

I don’t like either.

Imagine yourself privy to the whole world as it lay docile before your
power. Now imagine the only people you can trust are those who have
also gained such immense power. Would you hesitate to form an alliance
with others that share your unique fortune in life? Or would you begin to
consider the possibilities of your obscene fortune along the same lines
as any Godless human being?

To what point would amassing a gigantic fortune result in you searching out
first immortality? And second a world populated by only those you can trust?
And would you not look to minimize the threat against you? By eliminating the
need for those who you deem only necessary for yourself and those like you?

Thru automation and AI I think anyone would. Do you see how the timing of
everything is coming together all at once. We are becoming obsolete exponentially.
We face no greater threat than the wants and desires that manifest in the human
heart. Because far to much is never enough. Life extension and security would
definitely be on the agenda. Wouldn't you agree?

There is a life philosophy that states however you came by your great fortune in life you should leave this world the way you entered it, with nothing, leaving only memories and good will in your wake.

So. There comes a point in accumulation when death becomes a concern in your life.
At that point the resolve to divest oneself of wealth by gifting to your fellow man is expedient to the salvation of your soul.

Conniving and covetous misers who grasp and hoard until they pass from this world waste a golden opportunity to secure a place in heaven, the great book of life.

By your actions your intentions are known.

May my memories of you remind me of your memories of me.
Remember. Remember.

I mean, are you asking what we think about immortality or what we would do if we "ruled the world?"

Im not sure humanity should be able to access immortality in any of its forms. At least not currently.

We may end up being an undying race of horrifically insane beings..

As for what I would do if I "ruled the world," I would immediately funnel a lot of resources into the tools that would make a "ruler of the world" obsolete.

I believe that humanity is capable of more significant advances, more quickly, without exploitative systems of that nature. It would end up benefiting me (the ruler of the world in this scenario) far more than any traditional approaches, exploitative or benevolent/altruistic.

Whether it should be accessed or not is hardly a deterrent.
I'm not saying it is or it isn't but the global elites like
Henry Kissinger (Who's name anagrams to King Henry's sire)
and The Queen for example. Do seem to be on to some kind
longevity.

I don't see what would stop the mega rich Gates, Zuckerburgs
etc. from seeking life extension. And researching the possibilities
of immortality for themselves. I see nothing absurd about the
notion that those that reach a certain echelon of wealth. And
power are given access to some type of congregation that despises
the rest of humanity. Possesses knowledge that it keeps from
the rest of humanity. Lies to the rest of humanity. Would
absolutely consider depopulating the rest of humanity. While
even experimenting on the rest of humanity along the way.
All in pursuit of such things as immortality for themselves. Anyone
who thinks this is "Conspiracy theory" or paranoia is IMO an idiot.

Consider the Germans in world war2 and the Russians shortly after
certainly have entertained such ideas. So I treat any resistance to
these obvious realities with variable amounts of disdain. And the
wackos will turn right around and prove everything I claim here.

How?

Because they have their own "Conspiracy theories" that protect the
lies they choose to believe. Like "The Bible was designed to control
the masses". A total beef sh3t pie served with out warning at1200
degrees.

Total hypocrisy. One member stated he's baffled by how confident I am
that I'm right? How in the F&^$ is that even what matters? Why even worry
whether I'm right or not if one obviously hasn't worried about their own
righteousness.

thought in our minds to become manifest in our reality.
As what we believe to be true about all human beings?
Is really only true about those in power.

And that lie is very subtle being quite simply.

Power corrupts!

Two words is all it takes to prevent us
from having the world that was intended. But not the
only two words. Once you catch on to this it's amazing
what happens.[
