Some might argue that the shark in Jaws only followed its nature and did nothing wrong.

Maybe, but now I'm thinking of a movie called Cruel Jaws.

Or was it Jaws V.

Does anyone remember?

Make up your mind Billy, it's the fish or me.

Billy: now let's weigh it up realistically.

I think the fish are a much better economic option.

But culturally?

I mean you can't take a fish to a dance.

Yeah maties, and what would make the "cruel shark" so much crueler than the other sharks?

Nets - take a good look at nets.
Takes at least 4 Pound to make, and the shark just cuts and devours it all, and does whatever it pleases.

Hence I always say, good on ye wildlife.
But leave our nets alone.

This shark is much crueler, because it first goes for the right arm.
Then the left leg.
Then it returns for the left arm and right leg.

So just to be sure, we are dealing with a creature that first bites off the left leg and the right arm?

That's right.
So we punch it with the left leg, and klap it with the right arm.

I survived a shark contact while swimming years ago. The fish was about my size if not bigger.

I made my way out almost walking on the water like Jesus. I shouldn't be complete now or shouldn't be here at all.

Since then, I can't watch those shark movies.

As someone who’s job was to install, monitor and clean shark nets on Australia’s busy east coast I can safely reassure everyone.
The only sharks you need fear are the thin ones.

The perfectly dichotomous command:

Everybody stay calm and get out of the water!

Stay calm, stay calm.
For godsake stay calm.

Freak out and swim!

Calmly ... and orderly.
