Bigfoot posture

Found this elsewhere and thought it was interesting. Though it proves nothing of course but it does illustrate that this is how some primates use bipedal locomotion. Especially if the stories are true they also are comfortable traveling on all 4's too. Which is highly likely as well..

You do relise the middle one is of a man in a costume. The maker told all about it after the buyer/film maker had passed away. If you look carefully, he is nothing like the other two apes in ether build or posture.

While I do believe in Bigfoot, that still is from a known fake video.

The Patterson-Gimlin footage that is in the upper middle has really impressed me, because decades after the footage was taken, digital analysis provided much more insight as to musculature and shifting of same, and it convinced me. I know that there have been a plethora of challenges since the film emerged in 1967.

I have always been impressed by the modal locomotion of the subject of the film, and the manner in which the muscles of the neck and shoulders appeared to bunch as the "creature" turned to look back. If I had to guess, I would say that the creature was real and was a female.

Nikita, who is featured in your video, has an amazing locomotion, but it appears to me more dog or horselike than that of a primate. Still, she is amazing!

That video was posted earlier. I found it painful to watch.

That girl is going to have back problems later in life. We walk upright for a reason.

And yes, the poster above is correct. That pic is a know hoax.

Got any links to stories of PGF being a known fake they are as dubious as the OS if you as me. I've heard stories like Bob Hermonius SP?, but it sounds like as much BS as anything else. Lots of well-educated people say we didn't have the tech to make "suit" like that and certainly not a guy like Gimlin.

Point was if a human can do that kind of locomotion, it's likely an mythical 800-pound forest ape could too

I sometimes think their posture and mid-tarsal foot bend is designed very well for running up and down steep slopes. They walk by "grabbing" the ground with their toes and lifting their knees high for the next step. If I was running uphill, that would be very helpful. Also with longer arms. I could sprint up a steep slope like it was nothing.

That's false. If you watch versions that are stabilized and zoomed in you can very clearly see the muscles in its leg flexing as it walks.

Lol, she just enjoys it IIRC think there is a video of her talking about it on youtube. Search for a woman galloping like a horse.

I was trying to show there are various forms of locomotion, even if we are primarily bipedal. Hell, I'm kind of jealous it looks so effortlessly, plus she can book along pretty damn fast. It looks more efficient in some ways.

The one ot the left is real. My close friend saw one up close in North Cali. Thats what they look like. They have very muscular legs and arms. You can see the muscles move. Costumes dont do that

Believe it is real if you want. The technology was available at the time and it looks too human to me. Fake fur, foam and stretch fabric is all that is needed. It is all about tricking the observer into believing what they see. In this case, the film quality means as much or more than the costume does.

Just like any ufo argument, there are those that insist what they see is real or fake no matter the evidence.

You are incorrect....they massacered an entire Clan....they used Bigfoot Trained Dogs to chase down a Clan and force it to Tree its baby...then Adults as expected tried the Broken-Wing tactic of making a telegraphed appearance to draw the trouble away from the Treed youth.....but the Hunters were not random they were hired as a Bigfoot Hit-Team led by a Canadian Specialist....so they captured the Baby an pegged it down in the open to draw in the Adults whom they then methodiclly slaughtered defaced then buried .

Im still trying to track down how many Clans this Hit-Team slaughtered for Big Business....the Clan these killers murdered were executed so logging and development would not be interfered with.

There are still Bigfoot habituating that area...I have seen multiple footage taken within the last 5 years in that EXACT AREA that shows recent Bigfoot activity.

As best as I can figure (haven't read through this thread or the other one this video was posted in that I saw), people are impressed by humans emulating animals.
Great physical movement but nothing overly impressive, it's something learned by undergrads in a theater program.
