I love baking bread. I have a fancy proofing basket and special tools, and keep a sour dough mother. My parents gave me their old Magic Mill so I could grind my own flour. I have one chest freezer filled with all kinds of wheat, oats, teff, barley and specialty grains.

A few months ago, I was whipping out the lasagnas. I must have made 5 assorted hi end ones. Recently I have been making pizzas. They are a lot of fun!

I made 2 or 3 batches of wontons too! Shrimp and pork, and crab and shrimp. I froze trays of them for quick meals later

Same shrimp and pork. It was my first time making it and it won't be the last.

Other experiments in wrapped/ filling foods I have planned are empanadas and stuffed cabbage.

Stuffed cabbage is the bomb. I prefer cabbage wrap over grape leaves. I love dolmades don't get me wrong but the Eastern European cabbage wrap hits the belly just right.

I made a thread on dolma a long while back. I do like the tartness of grape leaves. But I'm craving savory and meaty comfort foods lately.

Now it's a race to see who will have stuffed cabbage pics up first!
