Biden Dismisses Uighur Genocide As Being a "Different Norm"

New York Post reports:

President Biden is dismissing the genocide against the Uighur population in China, dubbing the mass internment a “different norm” — despite the State Department this month responding to “atrocities” in the camps, following reports of systemic rape and torture.

The commander-in-chief made the remarks after being asked during his CNN town hall Tuesday evening about his recent conversation with his Chinese counterpart, starting his response by relaying Xi’s justification for the abuses.

From anyone else we would be called "Racist", but from this guy it's just a different kind of norm. Maybe the Storming of the Capital is a different kind of norm. I heard that Harris want the burning cities to be a different kind of norm.

Yes, and I am sure that prior to entering WWII what went in the camps in Germany was just a "different norm" too. Remember, everyone in the world was enamored of fascism in Germany and Italy right up until it started marching around and became impossible to ignore that it was coming to conquer them.

Oh I thought you were being sarcastic at first. No, not everyone was 'enamored' with Fascism. And when American soldiers uncovered the concentration camps with many dead and starving minorities they were shaken to the core, and pretty much the whole world was appalled by the discovery.

Yesterday, Trudeau got a bit squirmy when the word "genocide" was used, he too gave China a soft pass, the future Olympics being the topic. No f'ing way should they get them.

You know, I thought he might keep the illusion up till my birthday in March, but Biden is sounding more and more mentally unfit for office.

Maybe it's all the back door deals he has done in 47+ years of government life, but I don't think he knows what the office of presidency details.

Do some research. Prior to the breakout of WWII, much of the civilized world thought that fascism was "the" new way. FDR himself was flirting with it.

In fact, things in pre-war US were sort of like they are today in terms of our admiration for China and turning a blind eye to things going on over there.

But it will be like when Hitler paraded his master race in front of the world in Berlin. China is busy playing fast and loose with CRISPR tech and trying to develop supermen. So it almost wouldn't surprise me to see history attempting to repeat.

Yes, there were people here who felt that way too. But many did not. You're painting a broad brush. Like I said, when the genocidal evil of the Nazis was uncovered people were appalled the world over.
