When you look at your phone screen in bright sunlight it’s reeeely hard to see, right?

That’s sorta like the shiny things in the sky. When the bright light of the sun is around they are really hard to see.

Right now it’s dark in other places on earth and they can see the shiny things up there. They can also see their phone screens better.

Subsidiary inquiry: how is it that the constellations' shapes have not changed in millennia? I thought that the shiny little specks were big balls in movement, are they magically too slow and too far for us to observe the constellations' deformation? Each one of them and all taken together? Truly that would be a supramundane miracle (not unlike the Moon always showing the same face and its having the exact apparent diameter of the Sun.)

I’m no expert in this area but I would think that the reflected light of the sun off the earth and the relatively close distance from your outer space vantage point allows you to see through the atmosphere.
The reflected light is orders of magnitude brighter than a star.
At night it would be similar. Couldn’t look down and see my porch light but could see my city.

The "proof" you state above is seriously flawed imo, regardless of origins.

"worse" is a human objective word and has no place in describing universal truth.

"Things constantly change" is all you need.
