Not only would you need "time" travel, you'd also need "space" travel. The earth is not in the same spot in the solar system it was 50 years ago. Unless this is all a simulation, which is possible.

In this video I am going to recreate the Project Looking Glass Time Machine. So if you don’t know already Project Looking Glass was a Military Operation in the 1970’s where the Government created a machine that could view into the future. They created a machine that connected to your thoughts and that could view any probable future that might happen.
