Source article from the US Sun

Researcher Anthony Bragalia wrote to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) requesting details of all UFO material, which they hold and results of any tests they had been carrying out on it.
He wrote: "This could include physical debris recovered by personnel of the Department of Defense as residue, flotsam, shot-off material or crashed material from UAPS [unidentified aerial phenomenon] or unidentified flying objects."

In the response, shared with The Sun, the DIA released 154 pages of test results that includes reports on a mysterious "memory" metal called Nitinol, which remembers its original shape when folded.

The DIA letter, first shared on Bragalia's blog, reveals that the testing was carried out by Bigelow Aerospace, one of the Department of Defense's private contractors based in Las Vegas, Nevada

Not the first time I have seen discussion of this material research, but never found any answers. Some of the links are dead now.

From Kevin Randle's blog

Tadolini, in an affidavit for the Fund for UFO Research described it this way. "What Bill showed us was a piece of what I still think of as fabric. It was something like aluminum foil, something like satin, something like well-tanned leather in its toughness, yet it was not precisely like any one of those materials. While I do not recall this with certainty, I think the fabric measured about four by eight or ten inches. … Bill passed it around and we all felt of it. I did a lot of sewing, so the feel of it made a great impression on me. It felt like no fabric I have ever touched before or since. It was very silky or satiny, with the same texture on both sides. Yet when I crumpled it in my hands, the feel was like that you notice when you crumple a leather glove in your hand. When it was released, it sprang back into its original shape, quickly flattening out with no wrinkles. I did this several times, as did the others."

But Nitinol isn't a "mystery metal", it's just an alloy of nickel and titanium

It was "discovered" in 1959 during missile R&D.

Did the Pentagon just admit to having UFO Debris? (Spoiler Alert: No) - Here's what REALLY happened

So frustrating to have to do a video like this, but as traction grows today on various social media platforms about a story that just surfaced rooted with a FOIA request response - I felt a video was in order. Wild sensationalized headlines and misinterpreted FOIA results has all landed a new UFO story that is, well, just not accurate. Although at the recording of this, mainstream media coverage has not commenced, the blog in question has found itself posted throughout multiple social networks such as Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter; all resulting in many questions. This is addressing the rumor, while adding a few more tidbits about AAWSAP that you may not be aware of

Maybe a nothing burger, but thought worth posting.

Bragalia said it was a "stunning admission" from the US government and the documents reveal that some of the retrieved debris possesses "extraordinary capabilities" including the potential to make things invisible or even slow down the speed of light.

He told The Sun: "The Pentagon has admitted to holding and testing anomalous debris from UFOs.

JGJ thinks the confusion comes from FOIA people, they released a canned response that confused Bragalia. Start in 11:00 in video for this discussion.

Petrified alien poop was being analyzed at one time. I wonder what became of it?

Where's Springer? That desert cube that was found that was the size of a VW Bug. Who got that thing again?

Anyways the reason I brought that case up was that it was back in the 1940's-50's and it went somewhere, so we've had something to test for a while now. I wonder what ever became of that object.

I seem to recall a old video of a man cutting a piece of metal with a knife and the metal sealing itself... I don't know if it was ancient aliens or a documentary on roswell...

This seems familiar somehow though...

What's the more likely scenario? That humans on this tiny ball of dirt are the only intelligent beings in the limitless universe or that there are many others out there? Well common sense and mathematics says the later is true. We are not unique, we are not alone, we are not as smart as we think we are. It is almost laughable to think that humans are the only intelligent life in the universe.

My assessment as well [without the NWO stuff -- it's straight left-coast dogmas] , as well as some staff veterans who are coasting towards retirement. Most dead-tree media no longer can rely on ad revenue for most of their income, it's got to be subscribers, and the subscribers buy the paper so they can read how they [the subscribers] are the most intelligent, ethical, compassionate, and 'woke' humans on the planet. Feed the conceits of your paying customers is the new business plan across the board.

In my own field, spaceflight, their coverage sucks, it's all 'Project 1619' slavery-is-behind-everything-TODAY' == for example, the fable they've been drumming in the last year or two about a black astronaut who should have walked on the moon except for NASA racist astronauts and officials. Off topic for this thread.

But you do realize that the " limitless universe " is fkin huge?

There could be dozens of intelligent lifeforms in the universe and they would never know about each other given the ridiculous distances.

Why would intelligent lifeforms visit Earth??

If ET possessed the technology to get here from some distant planet they certainly wouldn't need anything we have; they'd already have it...and a whole lot of other things we don't have (yet, or maybe ever will). And we humans would be of no benefit whatsoever to them.

Why would they risk crossing swords with our antiquated military instruments. When you look at ET from a risk mitigation perspective, his visiting Earth becomes almost a mathematical impossibility. The odds against such an event are so heavily stacked against us Earthlings it's almost incalculable.

ETA - Oh, but wait...maybe ET is really a "quantum" alien, who used his whole toolbag of "quantum" stuff to materialize here. Yep, that's the ticket!

Just kidding! (but that's how everyone seems to explain everything anymore).

I interpreted JGJ to mean it's Bragalia who's confused.

Bragalia's FOIA request asked these 7 items, see in particular #5 and #7 (from the BLOG link in the opening post):

#7 mentions test results on UAP recovered material, and #5 mentions technical reports on held material (in the context of AATIP mentioned earlier) which doesn't mention UAP.

So according to JGJ, the FOIA is responsive to #5 by providing 5 DIRD technical reports related to AATIP mentioned earlier in the FOIA. But, Bragalia incorrectly interprets the response as responsive to #7, when it's only responsive to #5 according to JGJ.

It's like if you send a FOIA asking:

Please send me all documents on:
1. Flying Saucers
2. Garlic mashed potato recipe for the soldier's MRE (Meals Ready to Eat)

Then they send the mashed potato recipe and you write a blog post saying they responded to your FOIA asking about flying saucers.

Yes, I have no doubt there are penguins in Antarctica, the question is, are they visiting Las Vegas?

I'm not quite as sure about aliens as I am about penguins but it's a similar issue, just because they're out there, doesn't mean they're here.

My opinion of the New York Times has been getting lower after reading the bad reporting by Leslie Kean etc. This is more on topic since it's AATIP-related like the AATIP-related FOIA this thread is about. See Leslie Kean talking about a slide Hal Puthoff showed in 2018:

The actual slide Puthoff showed captured from a youtube video says "possibly including off-world" (see below), but somehow Leslie Kean/The New York Times published a version of that slide with the word "possibly" removed:

Removing the word "possibly" changes the context significantly, so I think Kean is not being truthful when she says it's the same slide, here's the article and the NYT slide:

Do We Believe in U.F.O.s? That’s the Wrong Question

My trust level of the New York Times and Leslie Kean has reached new lows.
