M 7.0 - 90 km ENE of Namie, Japan

This is just breaking, or hasn't broken yet, half an hour ago Japan experienced an earthquake measuring 7.0 off the coast of Fukushima.

Yesterday must have been a Foreshock.

I hope this doesn't cost human lives but fear the proximity to Fukushima.

Any idea how that might affect the nuclear waste already spilling into the pacific from the area?

Wow, seems like we are going through a burst of bigger quakes than normal. I wonder what is fueling the quakes. I suppose it has been a little quieter for a while so the plates are jerking harder for a while to make up for the lack of small quakes.
