The cop was also a supporter of the president. It is a shame that he passed but out of the five who died that they keep repeating only one was maliciously killed. She was an unarmed person who was shot.

The mayor did request help days before the insurrection. The DOD granted 350 guard, only for crowd control and to be stationed 9 blocks from the Capitol.

What went on with the Capitol police remains unknown. What happened with the Capitol cop who had ties to Manafort who's company was behind the rally and committed suicide in the days after remains unknown.

It is noted that Trump rebuffed calling them in on the 6th and that Pence had to do it.

Secondly, because of your assertion, were that to be argued in a court of law, then the onus is on the lawyer making the claim that "he would have died anyway" to prove that on that day at that time, he would have died. So, stupid rebuttal #2.
