That doesn't sound like a very good strategy, encouraging your enemy to build more weapons to blow you to bits, possibly. If Stanislav Petrov had done his job, it would have meant an even bigger crater where Russia used to be, how is that a good strategy?

A far better strategy is the get the enemy to waste resources on things that don't work.

Realistically both sides probably had enough nukes to render moat of the world uninhabitable by that point, so whats a few more? The massive financial investment to produce nuclear weapons was a major strain on the USSR and continues to aid the poor economic conditions of North Korea.

This was something about the cold war that never made any sense. Why put money into projects that you already know are fake?

The answer is so that the banks can profit from them. Who controls the worlds banks? Morgan gave Mao money to socialize China, just like he did with the Bolshevik party and later the National Socialist party of LA then Germany. Who gave the Morgan family the money to start the American banking system back in the colonial days? Rothschilds.

During the Cold War with the Soviet Union, how much money got pushed around in both the USSR and USA? Now that the Cold War is over, look at China and the US now and how much money is being pushed around between those countries? These Power Elites are using money, as in cash, as a drug to entice others to do what they want. Just like the fabricated Cold War we all had to suffer through.

Nobody has any tech that can remake reality, nor does China have any time machine. It's all an excuse to push money onto folks so that the Power Elites can make those people jump when they want. So no, the US Navy doesn't have crap like what's being said. If they did don't you think they would have just fixed the leaking of this information by using said device?

It's funny that this type of story just happens to get put out there when a political group that has wasted money and pushed war for profit in the past has regained the seat of power. If fact I would say that the only story out there about mystery machines that can be seriously discussed is a few stories about mystery devices falling from the sky before anyone had anything up there, and well let's just leave it at that for now.

If the TRUTH ever came out I suspect there would be a lot of law suits all around the world especially in nations were remains may have been spirited away from.

Cone shaped, check that is one type.

Fly's under water and in the air, Check that is another type and there may have been types that could also fly through solid material using a form of quantum tunnelling technology.

Of course our more rational members will deny and point out that most that we know of Vimanas is from a very dubious source, channelled but that was still late 1800's early 1900's so?, still way ahead of it.

Also UFO believers will point out story's of UFO supposedly from inner earth kingdom's (Ancient D.U.M.B perhaps) that could fly through solid rock using a vacuum plasma tube they would project ahead of themselves.

Of course this scientist could simply be working on those same ideas and his patent COULD be genuinely home grown but based on account's and observations of UFO rather than rumoured retrieval of downed and also of ancient craft remains.

But sorry this is a conspiracy site so I am calling foul, they are sitting on technology probably BOTH ancient former advanced human - or near humans once native to the earth - and also downed alien (or are they humans or near humans that just got OFF the earth or went underground?.)

OR I could be watching just a tad bit too much science fiction, hooked on star wars and star trek etc (and now I feel like a Cornish pasty - yes I know it's a bit early but Klingons - not those awful and crap Discovery fake Klingon's but proper pasty squashing head butting Cornish pasty forehead next generation Klingons).
