Some pretty #ed up footage here of police forcibly taking a woman's baby over concerns over the baby's well being.

It's kind of hard to make out from the stories I found, but it seems like the concerns stem from the parents being I guess Australia's equivalent of offgridders. They seem to eschew chemical products and the like.

I'm sure there's more to the story, but as presented, it would seem the parent's lifestyle was the cause of the baby's removal.

The mother's main concern seemed to be about the baby possibly being exposed to chemicals, which given the circumstances seems like kind of an odd thing to worry about.

Despite the situation and whatever might have been occuring there's better ways that could have been dealt with i'm sure. The baby seemed to be in no immediate danger, at least not the kind that warranted such a response.

The video's available at the news link. I tried finding a youtube video to embed directly but couldn't find one.

Just a warning, If you're a parent this may be hard to watch.

www.newshub.co.nz...

The woman was surrounded by police officers and support workers in bushland near Byron Bay, New South Wales last week.

Footage of the incident shows the authorities asking the mother multiple times to give up her 8-month-old baby boy.

"This is not right. This is my baby," the mother can be heard pleading with them.

"This is against human rights. Don't do this to him."

One of the officers tells her that they are going to have to "sort some stuff out" but they have to take the boy.

"There are safety concerns for the wellbeing of that baby," she said.

After a few minutes the situation appears to escalate as two police officers hold back the mother while support workers pull the boy from his mother's grasp as she screams.

They describe the boy as a "gumnut" baby - a reference to a book about babies who live in the bush.

The family said they live an organic lifestyle and had concerns he was now drinking from a bottle, being bathed in "artificial perfume" and chemicals, and "sleeping in a cot (prison cell)".

In a statement provided to 7News, a spokesperson from the Department of Communities and Justice said it "takes concerns about children's safety and wellbeing extremely seriously".

DCJ cannot comment on individual child protection matters."

The police did not specify why the baby was taken.

Can we agree, enough is enough, when these people, organizations and etc. pull this stunt?

They don't have a right to silence as they abuse people. They are not an individual or entity.

FBI refuses to take calls, police won't specify.

Really getting tired of these lines.

Did one of the officers take the baby's place? Sounds like the chemicals this Mother attempts to stay away from, have been heavily consumed by these police officials...triggering mental problems.

Byron coppers are renowned crooks and drug dealers.

They'd be ashamed of themselves if they still had souls.

Nugan Hand Bank was an Australian merchant bank that collapsed in 1980 after the suicide of one of its founders, Australian lawyer Francis John Nugan, resulting in a major scandal.[1] News stories suggested that the bank had been involved in illegal activities, including drug smuggling, arranging weapons deals, and providing a front for the United States Central Intelligence Agency. Speculation grew when it became known that the bank had employed a number of retired United States military and intelligence officers, including former CIA director William Colby.

He was employed selling real estate at Ocean Shores in Northern New South Wales; and there are allegations that Hand, together with an ex-Air America pilot, Kermit ‘Buddy’ King, was involved smuggling drugs through Byron Bay...

All it takes is one social worker to sign off for the police to help steal a child. It does not matter if the only evidence is some wrong hearsay lies or any other made up crap. With the child taken, the onus is then on the parents to spend thousands through the courts if they are to have any chance seeing their kids again. The CPS system has gone bad, targeting lower class families that do not have the resources or skills to fight the system.

As for what happens to the kids once taken? From some of the rumors going around, it ain't good.

Which would be more relevant if this weren't a trend in pretty much every "westernized" society including America.

I wasn't referring to this instance as a singular occasion.

How many times has a report come out about something dastardly only to hear "Police made no comment" or "FBI refused to elaborate."

Please take your deflection elsewhere. You mentioned nothing about how these people get away with silence.

As someone whose friends are registered foster carers for children who have been removed from their parents, I can assure you that it is unlikely to be as simple as this news story portrays.

There are some horriffic things that some parents do to their children, despite the parents thinking that they are doing nothing wrong.

One instance was a girl who didn't want to appear pregnant because she was under age. The girl herself drank heavily and took metamphetamine during the preganancy, and tied belts around her stomach so as not to appear pregnant.

When it became obvious that she was, in fact, pregnant, her grandmother beat her and kicked her repeatedly in the stomach hoping to kill the unborn child.

The girl delivered after being hospitalized from the beating, and the baby, with fetal alcohol syndrome and addicted to methamphetamine in the womb, was also injured and went straight to intensive care.

Needless to say, babies born in such a situation scream inconsolably until they loose consciousness, so you don't know if they need a change or feeding because those issues are secondary to their distress. It is harrowing and it takes specially caring people to voluntarily place themselves in such a situation. Needless to say, the child (a girl) is now 3 years old and has been legally adopted into the foster family. She has not developed like a normal child would and so she still cannot go to pre-school and probably won't be able to start normal school when she becomes old enough.

Such a situation could easily be manipulated by the unscrupulous because privacy laws can prevent the full details from becoming publicly known. In situations such as this, it pays to dig a little deeper to find out all sides accounts of the situation.

CPS is full of psychopaths gravitating to a place of power.
And psychopaths don't recognize other psychopaths.

Yes. let's dig deeper on Ariel Robinson.

She's the little girl killed by her food network show winning mommy. The above is the surface story.

This has some more details.

You're right. Her original circumstances were poor, but it seems her parents' main issue was marijuana, not abuse or anything else. The particulars in this case are bad enough that CPS won't comment on why the strategy was total removal was the preferred option here, and it led to placement into an abusive and murderous situation.

So to recap, CPS removed children from parents who wanted them, and placed at least one into an abusive and murderous home.

So to circle back to this story, you're right that the details are sometimes more than we know, but it's not always in the favor of government.

Remember the "Professional Kidnapper" t-shirts worn by Arizona CPS employees?

They got fired for it, and rightly so. But here this article is whining about the experience the office lost. Too bad! If you lack the awareness to understand why those shirts were horrible, then you deserve to be out of that job.

I once had a girl friend who got tangled up with CPS over her daughter.
And some of the sappy ass outright looney people involved with
them was frightening. I'm saying things got really weird walking up
to people in court or at the dept. On the outside they look mostly
normal. But as soon as they open their mouth. OMG! They're brain
function and total lack of persona and I'm trying to be nice. I listened
to a conversation between one of those officers and someone outside
the dept. one time. It's like I was listening to someone who's brain was
the only evidence of life. There was nothing else. Nothing any where
close to personable. And I feel bad talking about people like that but
it's so unmistakable and yet hard to describe. I call them saps.

Get used to it. It is the new world of liberal lefties, socialists who feel all children belong to the state and are the responsibility of the state and the collective. Parents who dare to not go along with prescribed correct behavior, are deemed a hazard to society.

Social workers who rip children from their homes are trained and steeped in liberal ideology that puts the collective above the individual and says the collective is better equipped to raise and educate children than parents.

China does this regularly, takes children from parents because the parents don't conform to communist edicts. Communists, like socialists feel children belong to the state and the collective and parents have no rights to their children other than what the collective allows.

China is now concerned because it lifted the one child policy due to an excessive imbalance between older adults and children who are supporting the older adult population. But most Chinese women are refusing to have more than one child, and China is concerned about the gender imbalance due to abortion as the culture values males over females. What female wants to go through birth and caring for a child only to live daily with the possibility that the state will rip the child out of their arms at a young age for reasons like the child has a special talent the state wants to nurture. There is little incentive to have children if they can be ripped from you and put into the service of the state or to be raised in the way the state insists is correct.

But this is the way many if not most governments are moving these days, toward socialist oversight over every individual and insisting that not just children, but all people belong to the state. This is a core belief of modern "liberal" ideology, that everyone must think, speak, behave as the state tells them to, for the good of the collective.

No surprise it is happening even in Australia.

I'm well aware of it and have been.

Im just shouting now because after years of ridicule and out right plain verbal abuse for saying things people preferred to ignore, those same people are silent.

Where are you underwerks, okrian, south guard, silly?

#, people even like Auggie who seem to have a level head at times stays silent about most things in this administration.

It's a joke, they've completely outed themselves as petty narcissists.

They cried about the world going down the toilet during Trump, scared for their weed, man. But now? Lol, they go to the back of the bus, put their heads down and listen to nirvana on shuffle while acting like they had no part in this.
