I try to stay consistant all the time. I will always argue on the side of the Constitution, more freedoms, more liberties.

Never less.

Always. I really don't waiver. And there have been times I';ve been at odds with republicans and conservatives because my allegence is not to a party or person, but to the Constitution.

I find myself at odds with mostly those on the left, the democrats now. And my stance has never changed. I have always stood firm with my stance towards freedoms, rights and the Constitution.

It's disturbing.

I'm not trying to do anything, though you're pushing mighty hard to make it look that way. Do you have trust issues?

In that regard then you're a true individual and an authoritarian will not accept you.

Be careful in this climate man!

Oh, heck. I'm just about used to it by now.

I would like to point out that Fascists attack private property, wrong-thinkers and businesses while patriots attack government. Government should be small and scared of the people.

Did not you noticed that even religion has been dying slowly in this nation? the final touch was covid, denying people to congregate to worship has become as dangerous as getting together with families in some states.

Religion is now under the state control.

Fascism IS an ideology of the left!

This is NOT a conservative opinion, but a thinly veiled leftist tactic.

The left has more in common with fascism than they like to admit.

But fascism, at least to an American standard, IS on the left.

Our left is another countries right, there is that....

and on an edit:

This isn't a left vs right issue!

but all those former quotes detract from the latter.

I'm just saying that you would have had a better shot at unity if you had said both left and right can be authoritarian and, as americans, you should stand together against it no matter which side of the political spectrum it comes from, but you didn't do that.

While the comparisons are glaringly obvious, they aren't needed.

There is a global attack on free speech and anyone defending it is either authoritarian or too ignorant to see what is happening before their eyes.

Either way, you have a lot to answer for.

A lot of money and immense effort has been put forth to make the opposite "appear" true 😃

BIG LIAR How Theodor Adorno redefined Fascism

Fascism and Nazism are both phenomena of the left. This makes ideological sense, because at their core they represent ideologies of the centralized, all-powerful state. Moreover, fascism grew out of Marxism, and fascism’s founder Benito Mussolini, was a Marxist and lifelong socialist. Hitler, too, was a socialist who headed the National Socialist Party and in fact changed the name of the German Workers Party to make it the National Socialist German Workers Party.

How, then, did progressives in America re-define fascism and Nazism as phenomena of the right? This sleight-of-hand occurred after World War II, once fascism and Nazism were discredited with the reputation of Holocaust. Then progressives recognized it was important to cover up the leftist roots of fascism and Nazism and to move them from the left-wing column into the right-wing column.

The man most responsible for the progressive redefinition of fascism is Theodor Adorno, a German Marxist intellectual and a member of the influential Institute for Social Research, otherwise known as the Frankfurt School. The Frankfurt School scholars were leftists and most of them were refugees from Nazi Germany. Some settled in Europe; others like Adorno and Herbert Marcuse came to the United States.

Is that link a joke?

Fascism is a Roman concept, bundle of sticks supporting military power. Mussolini re-defined fascism. Not marxist philosophy.

Why would anyone need to redefine it when Mussolini himself said it was right-wing.

Well sh#t, if Mussolini said it that that's good enough for me.

All republicans and non-left thinkers are now fascist!

Done.
