Nancy Pelosi: House Members Who Carry Guns for Self-Defense Are the ‘Enemy Within’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) referred to House members who carry guns for self-defense as the “enemy within” on Thursday.

Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is the co-chair of the House of Representative’s Second Amendment Caucus and has been outspoken about her commitment to carry a gun in D.C. In a December 23, 2020, exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Boebert said, “I am my security.” She added, “Washington, DC, like most Democrat-run cities, has a violent crime problem, so I certainly need a way to protect myself and I will be carrying each and every day.”

What are they telling us? Is Pelosi saying that you and I are the "enemy without" by decree?

Following the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots Breitbart News reported that Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), the other co-chair of the Second Amendment Caucus, talked about how comforting it was to be armed when the rioters struck. Massie said, “The next member who argues Congressmen shouldn’t be allowed to carry firearms at work needs to be laughed out of the Capitol.”

That statement, though, was laughable unless Massie is planning on carrying around a crew-served weapon. 'Cause that's what it's probably gonna take the next time conservatives show up en masse. Some cop (what's it been .. 3 weeks with no further info?) shot an unarmed conservative in the Capitol Building her taxes paid for. How'd the lyrics to that The Who tune go? "Won't be fooled again."?Soon?

Rep Massie a rare breed, the man runs a farm, a brewery and is definitely on the side of the people. I don't get how anyone in Congress can't trust their fellows with guns yet are willing to hire absolute strangers for security? Demonize guns is the message. Over and over and over. Clean up Chicago first then maybe we'll talk.

I keep reading how AOC fears for her life after she was almost assassinated on Jan 6th. You'd think she'd be on board with carrying protection in case those terrorist conservatives roll back into town.

It's weird how some things get demonized and blown out of proportion.
The people that scare me the least are the ones with a concealed carry permit.

Somehow an ar15 is the symbol of evil itself when these fools have no idea what my semi auto 12ga shotgun with 00 buckshot can do.

I think Pelosi was deep in the Franzia and just let slip a horrible truth about herself. She's the enemy within all right.

THAT is the best response I've ever seen.
What the Left just doesn't seem to get is that we don't need a squad of cops escorting us place to place or 24/7 security to protect ourselves. We take it upon ourselves to insure the safety of our family.

To quote Clint Smith :

I remember hearing that. She was probably boasting/distracting to keep everyone from finding out she had a Chinee spy on her payroll.

Rest assured she has an agenda coming for this. Could be similar to what someone posted before about gun free zones being radiused from certain buildings, essentially making it impossible for you to carry without it being illegal, even if you have a license.

She needs something that is 100 proof minimum, no mixer.

There comes the gun legislation, my friends, Pertusi is the worst enemy of our nation right to guns, now she will terrorize the gun owners. Because she is the one main swamp creature behind the EOs that sleepy joe has been signing.

Democrats in the swamp have big plans for America and they do not include the American people, soo get ready for the gun grab we all know they love to come after our guns.

That's a cat neither side can afford to let out of the bag. It will undermine both political parties. The election rigging has been a scam from the local and state levels for a loooonnnggg time. It's just that local and state elections would have to rise to the level of super-scandal to make the news.

The states have suppressed voter interest into looking at the results 'post the flurry'. This is why they destroy the ballots so quickly after an election has ended. That disclosure of miscounts would lead to election reform. TPTB are running the show. They make rules and establish procedure to keep those rules from being changed out of their favor.

Can you imagine what the conservatives in the state of California would do if they found out their votes weren't really being counted and the state wasn't 'solid blue'? Can you imagine how the rest of the country would react? California is a political heavyweight. Would love to see that state banned from government for a decade or two as a penalty.

All "We The People" need to do to make that a reality is to make up our own damned rules and force them down their throats for a change.

Lawmakers are legally allowed to carry weapons throughout the halls of the Capitol, but they aren't legally allowed to carry weapons onto the Chamber Floor.

You had several lawmakers trying to bypass the metal detectors in order to bring weapons onto the Chamber floor, and whining when they were caught.

You can't being weapons into a court room, and you can't bring weapons onto the Chamber Floor. That's a no brainer.
