CNBC advocates for wearing 3 masks at once and tells viewers to purchase Chinese-made masks

If you thought "double-masking" was crazy, well, CNBC has some news for you - double-masking is only 75% effective! Good news though - if you wear 3 masks at once, you're 90% protected!
I don't know about you guys, but I think I might try wearing 4 masks at once to push for 95%!
What was even funnier, though, was when the news anchor offered a solution for people who don't want to wear 3 masks - the Chinese version of masks. She then holds up the packaging and masks for the screen and informs people they can be purchased on Amazon. There's totally no financial incentive there for trying to tell people to buy specific masks from a Chinese company on Amazon.

Lmao... I did the Two mask thread (recommended by Fauci) a few days ago and we were all laughing about wearing 3-4 or more because if two is good five must be better. Cling wrap was suggested. Plastic bags were as well. Who needs to breath?

I sat for a while trying to find words to respond to this. All I can think of is to just shrug.

At this point what else can you do? Anyone who takes # like that seriously is just so hopelessly brain dead I dunno if they can be revived.

I want my 90% mask efficiency for a virus that kills .01% of the people my age who contract it. I think I have a higher chance of death while walking my dog.

After exhaustive research I have found that 15 masks should be the limit. After that point breathing becomes difficult, and ear damage can result unless you are wrapping some of them around your head.

To gain further protection beyond that, you could try spraying every other mask with lysol after every half hour of use, or soaking them all in a 50% dilution of bleach every hour.

Actually, wearing 4 masks in one day takes you over 100% but you can get a "mask credit" so you can go outside with only 2 tomorrow.

Personally I think this torso shield looks like it would do more good than wearing your entire face diaper collection at once

NBC also accepts lots of money from companies pushing Covid-19 countermeasures. The commercial for the NBC-endorsed snot-sucker device is disgusting.
