Surprise! Mail-in ballots raise the risk of fraud - according to Amazon.

This would be hilarious if it weren't so sickening.

A group of workers at Amazon’s Bessemer, Alabama, warehouse filed paperwork in November for an election to decide whether to be represented by the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, a rare step for workers at a company whose U.S. workforce isn’t unionized. The NLRB, which oversees union votes, earlier this month said the vote would be conducted by mail, citing standards set up during the pandemic to keep workers and staffers safe.

The world’s largest online retailer said that a mail election raised the risk of fraud and the coercion of workers. It also said the process would depress turnout, arguing that as many as 29% of its more than 5,800 employees eligible to vote wouldn’t do so or would return incorrectly completed ballots.

So, let me get this straight.... when voting for arguably the most powerful position in the world, extensive mail-in voting is not allowed to be questioned as to the risk of fraud and coercion. But, when voting on Amazon's workforce becoming unionized, it is.

This is sickening!

This is obviously the Orange Man’s fault... no one would question the security of mail in ballots if not for him and his damn dirty followers raising questions... now poor Amazon has to go through all of this trouble to ensure a fair and just above the board election that surely won’t be rigged to keep out the unions that are on the side of Democrats always and... wait... why wouldn’t they want unions after quashing anything remotely conservative... oh... right... hurts Lord Bezos pocketbook... well... huh...

Oh, please. Amazon wasn't arguing for mail in voting during the election; the government was. Amazon, not the government, is asking (not demanding) for in-person voting, and probably won't get it. Yes, yes, we get it. Voting equals voting. But just like an election, different entities vote different ways. Some people voted for Biden. Some people voted for Trump. Amazon votes for in-person voting. The government votes for mail-in voting.

If you are that easily sickened, it's a wonder you are still alive.

What would be awe inspiring and magical would be 400 more employees than work at facility voted against unionization.
I don't care who you are, that would be funny.

Funny thing about that though. It depends on the "cutoff" date set by the NLRB. Those who were employed at that date are eligible to vote.

Those who no longer work there can vote. Those who were hired after, cannot.

Strange world, the world of Labor.

Nah, they'll probably just decide that it's better to just not follow the law.

The Presidential election was a fraud

Biden won because of massive widespread fraud and mail-in ballots were a big part of that

But defend fraud, that’s the stunning and brave thing to do

Biden didn't win, we know that, but Trump didn't lose, America did. Losing Jobs and losing Freedoms as Biden loses consciousness as you cheer it on.
So you don't like Biden? I don't care. Do you like his policies? That is what should have mattered, but people's feelz made them angry and hate filled which is not a state of mind to be in when making such an important decision.

Amazon do not want unionization.

They cannot 'pressure' employees off-premises as easily as they can on-premises.

They have already tried using private detectives and surveillance cameras to spy on workers.

You mean with like, poll "observers?" Do you think the observers will be packing?

Perhaps Amazooooon believes that the prospective union should consult them for all future union business as well ?

Going to be a whole lot of hypocrite alerts on a daily basis now.

No, more like a middle-level manager who enthusiastically wishes to 'encourage' their staff by shoulder surfing the voters who happen to be their immediate staff.

Imagine it in terms of "vote for me or you'll be cleaning the men's room floor with a toothbrush for the rest of your working life".

And their immediate supervisors wh do the same thing to ensure that their sub-managers 'play ball' and don't encourage 'slackers'.

And so on, up the chain.
