Just a month or two back Republicans and Trump were awful for not getting a stimulus bill past the Dem House.

Now that Biden's in office stimulus are terrible.

Gee, couldn't have predicted that 180.

Pay attention to who swoops in and buys up all of those shut down businesses and homes that are being lost due to people jobless with no income thru no fault of their own but for the scamdemic.

If we look back on the great depression it did two things,
it wiped out wealth for some overnight and it made others rich beyond measure..

They did, but it's simply to point out the hypocrisy. The Dems seem to flip flop like a fish on the bottom of a boat.

The money could be a lifeline for struggling taxpayers. But one of the biggest problems, according to economists, is many who receive the checks will either put the money into savings or use it to pay down debt, neither of which will do much to increase overall economic activity.

This is horsesheat.
Have they not heard of Velocity of money? Basically, I don't care where money is injected into the economy, the velocity of money is where every dollar created is used multiple times through it's life cycle. 1 dollar created will be transacted thousands of times throughout the economy, even if it is sent into savings in a bank. The bank will see to that.

Republicans are introducing a Stimulus package they say is better than the $1.9 Trillion Biden-Pelosi-Schumer Stimulus package.

Republicans say their package is "better" because its only $600 Billion in Stimulus money.

Source: www.foxbusiness.com...

Based on what Republicans did to cheat U.S. taxpayers in the $900 Billion December 2020 package, their proclaiming that this $600 Billion package is better than the $900 Billion and the $1.9 Trillion, tells you Republicans don't value the citizens they were elected to serve.

$1400 is 70 hours of work at $20/h before taxes.

What the # is $1400 going to get people that've been forced out of work? That'll last people about a day as they catch up on bills and such. It's a joke.

If they want to stimulate the economy, let people go back to work. You can't rebound an economy with a $1400 payment, that's gotta be one of the dumbest things i've heard and i'm hardly an economist.

This exactly. Want to stimulate the economy? End the fake pandemic SHAM, let people decide for themselves how to protect themselves and let people re-open their businesses (for those who have one left). If you are scared of getting COVID, then lock yourself in your house and order your crap online and pour gallons of hand sanitizer over your body every 15 minutes, but leave the rest of us the F alone to live our lives.

It seems to be lost on a lot of people that they can still choose to wear a mask, socially distance, etc, whatever else they want to do to make themselves feel safe. Nobody is going to complain about them doing that vs making masks mandatory and shutting down small businesses throughout the country. One is personal freedom, the other is state mandated restrictions.

Open us back up!

Throwing more stimulus money out is doing nothing but costing our grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the end. This little here, little less there, little more again soon isn't sustainable. People can't pay their rent, keep utilities on, but have been forced to stay at home, away from work, making nothing except these payments and unemployment. The only way to get the economy back up is to open back up and let people get back to work.

With one to two TRILLION in stimulus begin passed out every 6 months, money and national debt are meaningless at this point. It's not if but when the house of cards comes down for the great reset and we are accelerating towards the edge of the cliff in top fuel dragster.

Sadly we have a Conservative government in the UK so no "stimulus checks" for us , if the government offered me £400 free money I'd take it with a smile.

Perhaps Biden is to the Right of CNN.
