I write this with just about an hour to go until Biden is sworn in as the next President of the United States. As I watch, I wonder what must be going through trumps mind. He is about to see a man who he hates, who, if Trump is to be believed has stole his job, take his power from him through the will of the American people. Watching multiple channels its interesting to see the clear difference between how they treat trump vs how they treat Biden, I have just seen seen another clip of Mitch McConnell blaming trump for the insurrection earlier this month and it seems not only are the higher ups of the republican party turning against Trump but even his own Vice President.

He leaves office with a average popularity of just 38%, the worst on record for an outgoing POTUS, he is facing his second impeachment trial in the senate, he is the fist president in almost 30 years not to win reelection, he has been crucified in the press for his handling of the COVID pandemic. So he is politically isolated, he has lost support of the party, his approval rating is abysmal and he leaving office surrounded by scandal.

He must be pissed...unfortunately it would seem that things are about to get much worse.

So firstly not only is he losing his power to Joe Biden but Biden is actually going to actively reverse most of Trumps big policy decisions starting today. Biden is going to rejoin the Paris Accords, he is going to rejoin WHO and he is even going to stop construction on Trumps wall among many other policy changes that are designed to send a message to the American people and the world that Trump is gone and America is back to business as usual.

There is also lots of talk about Trump himself now facing lots of legal trouble with investigations, with six big legal battles that could really kick off once after he leaves office. The big one seems to be the tax fraud investigation in New York but he could still face legal jeopardy from his payment of hush money to the adult film stars he slipped its wotsit in. This is in addition to facing an emoluments case along side facing a lawsuit from his Marry Trump and that's not to mention the pending lawsuits regarding his sexual misconduct.

Not only that but if the tabloid media are to be believed his own wife seems pretty determined to divorce him and has been "counting down the days" until she can leave him.

So that means this year, not only is Trump facing a trial in the senate for inciting an insurrection but he is going to see his last four years work dismantled, he is facing multiple legal challenges and his wife might even be leaving him....

Thats just the stuff we know about in January, thats not even talking about him being deplatformed and the crappy year he has had so far, this could get much worse as the year goes on.

Trump is in for one deservedly sh!ty year!

Trump...meet Karma (not a porn star), Karma, Trump...have fun

And just think about what he could have accomplished had he not been fighting the democrats and the media for 4 years.

Find ways to prosecute DJT at the cost of our nation.

I don't think people really understand that they have a tiger by the tail here. Just let that tail go, and part ways quietly. The alternative does not look good for any of us.

I doubt the hate for Trump will disappear anytime soon. It's just too damn strong of an emotion and the hate is way too strong.

But with any luck, the few republicans with backbone left, will remember that pesky laptop and keep looking into Joey, even if the MSM doesn't cover it.

Thank you. They are acting as though Obama wasn't blocked from doing anything for 6 years. All the failures of Trump is on Trump. Good Riddance!

And the dems now have control of all three. They should be able to do everything they ever dreamed of.

The hate for Trump now turns onto the 75 million who voted for him... any call for unity is complete utter BS, and we all know it... they are out for blood..

Maybe you should worry about your own country.

No one gives a rats ass about what some foreigner "thinks" about our politics.

Just saying.

Yup, I think it's going to be really important to hold them accountable, they have not real excuses for not making changes and getting things done.

Its touching though that you care enough about what I think about your politics to take the time out of what is a very important day for the politically interested in your country to respond to my thoughts on the matter.

Thank you...

Watched Trump this morning he didn't seem pissed at all, in fact, he looked relieved, sounded relaxed, humble and honored. He should be in Florida as a multimillionaire and he can and will run his businesses and make a bundle on speaking engagements if he so chooses. In other words, Trump will be fine hell better than fine

Yep, and if all we hear is "But Trump", it will be a very sad pathetic 4 years. If anything, the last few weeks have shown me just how sad it really could be.

I think it would be really interesting to know how many of that 75 million voted for him because they where just traditional republican voters or because they were voting against Biden.

Speaking of giant steaming wet loads, anyone watching the coverage of Biden on TV?
You would think Jesus Christ himself was being sworn in today.
My wife has it on and it’s beyond nauseating.

I agree with you, we can't now have four years of "ohhh but Trump"

However if think its important to remember though that at previous administrations do have an impact on the incumbent administration. So for example when it comes to Covid it's fair to say "but trump".

I also think that while I agree with out that the whataboutisim is a bit pathetic we have had four years of "but Hillary"...she wasn't even POTUS.

Maybe you need to get your own house in order first.

How many countries around the world has The US interfered in their elections ? The list is quite a long one.
