Biden picks transgender woman as assistant health secretary

Another one of Biden's announced cabinet picks. Biden has selected transgender person Rachel Levine to be assistant secretary of health.

I guess expect the transgender agenda to be ramped up during the Biden presidency.

President-elect Joe Biden has tapped Pennsylvania Health Secretary Rachel Levine to be his assistant secretary of health, leaving her poised to become the first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

A pediatrician and former Pennsylvania physician general, Levine was appointed to her current post by Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf in 2017, making her one of the few transgender people serving in elected or appointed positions nationwide. She won past confirmation by the Republican-majority Pennsylvania Senate and has emerged as the public face of the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden said in a statement. “She is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts.”

She’s written in the past on the opioid crisis, medical marijuana, adolescent medicine, eating disorders and LGBTQ medicine.

Personally, i'm all for letting people be whatever makes them happy, but the way the rhetoric gets pushed in schools and society in general bothers me. It's another situation where the majority of the population is expected to conform and change on the whim of a very small minority of people and I would guess with this new appointee, there's going to much more of that over the next 4 years.

Johns Hopkins Chief Psychiatrist: Transgender Is ‘Mental Disorder’ says he in 2019...not too long ago. But the WHO dropped it as a mental illness in 2018. So for 100's of years, the medical community was wrong about this? Why not follow the science? (pre 2018 that is).
Of course, I'm a live and let live guy, so if he wants to pretend to be a she, whatever. Just not in the public restroom occupied by my granddaughter.

I really don't see this as much different than the guy who thinks he is Batman...am I expected to play along with him too?

It's all about normalizing confusion and creating division.
The best way to advance ones agenda is to destroy the standards by which the agenda is judged by. This also creates a need for their governance (leadership). Because only they can guide the masses throug the confusion.

In the lib progressive case it means destruction of The COTUS, morals and foundations of cicilized society that have been the standards. And obviously in this case to destroy science when it doesn't agree whith their "truth".
