Biden Rejects Trump’s Push to Lift Covid-19 Travel Restrictions

Why did that fool Trump even decide to lift them???

Pres­i­dent-elect Joe Biden re­jected an ef­fort by Pres­i­dent Trump on Mon­day to lift bans on most travel into the U.S. from Eu­rope, the U.K. and Brazil that were im­posed as part of the Trump ad­min­is­tra­tion’s ini­tial re­sponse to the coro­n­avirus pan­demic.

For some befuddling reason, Trump was trying to lift travel bans put in place due to covid-19. Why anyone would do that when we are at the worst part of the pandemic, makes no sense at all, unless Trump was trying to set Biden up. I don’t believe Trump is smart enough to plot like that though.

“With the pan­demic wors­en­ing, and more con­ta­gious vari­ants emerg­ing around the world, this is not the time to be lift­ing re­stric­tions on in­ternational travel,” she wrote. “On the ad­vice of our med­ical team, the Ad­min­is­tra­tion does not in­tend to lift these re­stric­tions on 1/26. In fact, we plan to strengthen pub­lic health mea­sures around in­ternational travel in or­der to fur­ther mit­i­gate the spread of Covid-19.”

Trump has already killed enough Americans due to his ineffectual responses to the pandemic. Seems he was trying to kill more on the way out.

Our first travel ban should have been all of China the day that Wuhan, a city of 11 million people were locked down.

Why?

Because, over 5 million people left Wuhan, like little spores, between the time the lockdown was announced and when it began to be enforced.

But no... Trump didn’t create a ban on travel from
Hubei Province until mid February, by that time it should have been ALL of China, but it wasn’t. Because he’s a moron.

Then came the outbreak in Italy... they had shut down first Lombardy, everyone was at the fashion week in Milan... then more of Italy and then all of Italy way before Trump put a ban on travel from
Italy. And during this time, a flight from Italy brought the virus to the state of Georgia.

The man doesn’t know how to deal with catastrophic situations, he’s always late to the executive decision.
