Do you have kids? Try taking their phones away for a couple of days and see what kind of addiction this really is.

I think that’s the best description of current times I’ve ever heard.

If you solicit their business, expect their rules.
People need to leave social media enmasse.
Bankrupt these fools.

So leave ATS right? nope thats not the answer. social media is now the public square, it is the comms so to say. The social media genie is not going back in the bottle. you cant just do an obi wan kanobi and be a hermit and leave thats not the answer.

I have been saying this for months now. Social media is now the public square, it is where people openly discuss politics, culture, media, education, and law. This is now the place where these ideas are hashed out and discussed. If conservatives are thrown off the platforms, we are effectively thrown out of the public square where these ideas are discussed. What does that leave us with to get our message out there???

I agree with your thoughts, especially after seeing the practice of shutting down any oppositions as performed these past few weeks. That means it's not a public square, but more of a controlled atmosphere or "echo chamber" where dissenting opinions and beliefs are thrown out.

It's the agenda that everyone keeps perpetuating by giving them their data. It's the Big Tech companies that have control and can delete your opinions based on their ideologies. It's not a fair and balanced conversation or debate.

It's the dumpster fire that everyone stands around to get warm but burns their hands.

Well, some people like to have their own fires.

She's controlling who gets to speak. And it's never gonna be an American voice again if she gets her way.

If only there were some decentralised way to communicate, maybe using computers routed through servers in different parts of the world...

That Trump meme is hilarious. To the Cult, it makes him look like a hero that would march to the Capitol with them. To the rest of us, it makes him look like someone who'd stir up a crowd and then go home and hide.

I get that out of my avatar too.

I could never leaving my home country for another and then work to change that country who I choose to go.

Rude. Disrespectful, pushy, arrogant

Brave browser makes a bold step toward allowing a decentralized web

reclaimthenet.org...

Brave, one of the most secure and fastest browsers, has now taken crucial steps in extending its support to a decentralized web. Brave is now going to offer native integration with a peer-to-peer networking protocol and is the first mainstream browser to do.

There's a reason why you, and people like you have no credibility outside the realm of right wing conspiracy theory circles.

Here's a couple of lines from the link to the story by PV

This footage was provided to Project Veritas via a Twitter insider, who reached out through the [email protected] email address.

So this is basically a "don't worry about the source" "you can trust us" kind of story. And people like you believe it no questions asked because it fits in nicely with your agenda.

What a joke.

You have to wonder why these companies find the most deranged people and put them in positions of power.
She is in charge of Legal, Policy and Trust?
She shouldn’t be in charge of the coffee machines at 7-11.

It's pushing the envelope to see how much the public will tolerate. Recently the lack of any real pushback has led to them finding the most extreme views they can force on us. Globalism arrives like fog, quietly on cat's feet until ready then it stomps the ever loving # out of everything in it's path.

Hi Mikell,

Many Indians look down on Americans and when they get in a position of authority they can be terrible.

According to the Hindu Caste System, most Americans are dalits, aka untouchables, in other words, sub-human, and beneath the caste system. Because almost all Americans are not born into the caste system, they can never enter the caste system, and remain dalits for life.
Even Corporate CEOs who hire H-1B replacement workers from India, are dalits (unless Hindu and born into the caste system).

I disagree. We fund this beast. We can defund it.
Just as people vote with a ballot.
We can vote with our money.

And yes, if ATS said something that was similar to censoring Americans, I would leave and encourage others to do the same.

Social media has become what we allowed it to become. Its only as powerful as the people let it be. If you give it the power, then you deserve the rules they enforce.

None of this is necessary or needed.
Its programmed to make you think it is.

Ahead of the Ugandan election, we're hearing reports that Internet service providers are being ordered to block social media and messaging apps.

We strongly condemn internet shutdowns – they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet.

and the precious comments...it doesnt get much better than this.
