And everyone is excited because bars and restaurants can now stay open until midnight once again after the mayor convinced a bunch of surrounding leaders to impose a 10pm curfew mid-November. Those surrounding officials have slowly been breaking, and the pressure has finally eroded the last holdouts.

Curfews, because Covid doesn't spread before midnight.

Ok, I'll bite. The last four years have been marvelous, clear
skies, no geoengineering in my area. I have cherished the
time outdoors, and am very sad and upset to see that the
incoming installation of Bejing Joe will immediately reverse
course on this and put the U.S. back in the Paris Climate Accord.

The Paris accord is actually far more limiting to a coal dependent country like China than to the US. So don't knock it.

Plus, Beijing Joe as you call him did some slick business deals and got himself a big old slice of the American capitalist pie. Don't knock having a president who is a shrewd businessman. If anything it demonstrates that he's a capitalist rather than a communist.
