We don't have armed militias over here and have not done for quite sometime.

If they catch you on the streets with a sharped butter knife you are risking 6 months in the clink.

Then again we don't have more guns than people nether, so there's that.

Yeah after a year of it, I realized it was madness and went through the process to stop. Maybe that's the disconnect, the capability to realize when you're screwing up.

I understand the purpose of the second amendment just fine.

Thing is said amendment never really envisaged armalite rifles and more guns than people.

The world spins Wide-Eyes, no need for armed militia in any first world nations in this day of age.

The UK have this up a while ago, it’s actually quite fitting that you don’t understand how it’s a necessity.

On every major news station; they spread hate, violence and try to divide the people as much as possible.

Every single day since the country was born. Why on earth else would the government try so hard to get rid of something specifically designed to resist total control by the government?

The United States is in a time of emergency, our country is being held hostage by thieving tyrants. It is time to use our Second Amendment rights, in fact we can use it anytime.

That's just poring petrol on the fire imho.

The very definition of a militia makes the regulation of such a complete and utterly untenable prospect at the best of times.

Groups of people with guns don't like to be told what they can and cannot do, that's just a fact of life whither its for there own or other peoples protection matters little.

Sure it did. The musket was the high tech rifle of the time. The ammendment is very clear. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

It does not say the "right of the people to keep and bear only arms approved by the government"
