What kind of socialist posing as a conservative asks a democrat to give the nation more in stimulus checks?

To me this is the opposite of conservative. Let them pull themselves up by their boot straps!! We don’t need more stimulus checks, we need more personal responsibility and entrepreneurship.

I don’t qualify for a handout but I do agree with you. The dEms caused this whole mess, they OWN the mess that the nation is in right now. And this tiny payout makes them look even worse, if that’s at all possible.

Biden won't follow through with his 2000 stimulus check unless it is tied to a five trillion package that gives money to everything but covid related stuff. I don't think his own Democrat Senators will go for what he wants to fund. It will hurt their people who voted for them more than help them.

I always love a story about someone beating the odds and break the chains of poverty but I notice you mention that you come or work in the farming industry. I just need to remind you that the farming industry is one of the BIGGEST receivers of government subsidies in the nation and ironically mostly goes to Republican areas.

Yeah sure why not? Pakistan gets MILLIONS from this stimulus for ‘gender studies’, which YOU are in favor of. So why not give some cash to the American citizens too?

They need to cut off all foreign aide and any non-essential spending (Pakistani gender studies). Cut checks of $20k or more to every US family.

Two grand? If it was 10 grand, or a 100 grand, it would still be an insult. My love of country is not for sale, nor is my sense of right and wrong. It’s going to take a lot more than money to restore my faith in Federal elections, and I don’t have any faith or trust in the Democratic Party, that I was a proud member of once upon a time. After watching that hateful, kangaroo court today, the DNC can go to hell for all I care. I don’t hold that nest of vipers at the RNC in much higher regard.

Rubio’s offer of two thousand is like the old joke, “would you sleep with me for a million bucks, she says yes, next line is. Well now that we have established that your a whore, I just need your hourly rate.”

Not enough economic hawks on either side, dollar is going to be like water soon. Crazy Nancy , The Donald, and Cocaine Mitch have been working the presses overdrive. Its going to come to a head soon.

We are screwed either way, doesn't matter that a certain percentage is fine, there will still be loads of people out of work where 2 grand does make a difference, but it just delays the inevitable. Unless they get the economy going it's the only way to keep from just patching it up with 600 dollars or 2000 dollar checks. As always the middle class gets the brunt, the good news after last year there are significantly fewer middle-class people and families, the bad news is they didn't go up. I don't know what the ultimate answer is, but it feels like TPTB aren't even asking the right questions.
