Biden Claims U.S. Capitol Rioters Treated Differently than BLM

Biden comments about the way "Rioters" were treated between The Capitol "disturbances" vs a hypothetical BLM "Peaceful" protest scenario.

President-elect Joe Biden claimed Thursday that the rioters who stormed the United States Capitol earlier this week would have been treated “very differently” had they been protesters associated with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

Biden, who has promised to make addressing racial inequities a central component of his administration, made the comments while introducing his appointees for the Depart of Justice at a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware. At the beginning of the event, Biden took a moment to address the rioting and violence that overtook the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday as supporters of President Donald Trump attempted to disrupt the certification of the 2020 election.

The president-elect, in particular, told the audience that when news of the rioting first broke his granddaughter sent him a photo taken last year of “military people … lining the steps of the Lincoln Memorial because of a protest by Black Lives Matter.”

“She said, ‘Pop, this isn’t fair. No one can tell me that if that had been a group of Black Lives Matter, protesting yesterday, they would have been treated very, very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the capitol,'” Biden said.

Why yes they would, if they were BLM they wouldn't be called thugs first of all and even if they burned the Capital down it would be reported as mostly peaceful, finally if any one moved against them then they would be labeled jackboots.

Not only that, but hell, they were trying to call in the NG like ten minutes into the whole ordeal. Portland is probably still burning! And the only reason they weren't called into DC is because the politicians were too p**sy to do it and did want to look bad. Idiots, the lot of them.

I don't completely agree with the actions of the protesters, but to pretend like what happened yesterday is in any way shape or forms different than blm or antifa stopping traffic, or burning down apartments with families inside, is absurd.

The only difference I saw was that no one walked away with a new 75 Inch LG, or a pair of Jordans.

Well, she was right....

BLM would have firebombed the place, stole everything and killed people while the cops would have been told to stand down and anyone actually arrested would have been bailed out by Harris and her friends (if any of the Freedom Fighters were actually sentenced).

Or they would have set up an autonomous zone called CHAPS, had a rapper Warlord preside over it and be provided food, water and communications by the Mayor of DC while she watched over a "Winter of Love" protest...

Biden's daughter isn't wrong, BLM was treated differently by the cops and the media... both groups allowed BLM children to run roughshod over whatever neighborhood or district they decided to lay waste to and when any LEOs attempted to do their job, they were met by retaliation from the politicians above them on the food chain. Had LEOs dealt with the pathetic riots of the summer the same way they handled yesterday, we'd have needed an influx of body bags in most major cities to handle the little nothings that were actually destroying those cities.

This is a good point, and there are videos of the night before when the Police were standing up against the Proud Boys

There has been more than enough proof of systemic racism, especially within the police force, I would even say systemic classism in the way they treat people, also the police are just enforcing of the State, the murder with impunity

up until the Patriots started attacking the building and the police most of the events they have been at the police have left them alone, even protecting them, but as you can see once they feel threatened political ideology doesn't matter... of course you are going to find more Patriots within the police then Black Lives Matter people.
