With eleven days until Georgia’s U.S. runoff election, a large majority of the state’s counties have failed to produce chain of custody documents for some 460,000 absentee ballots deposited in drop boxes that were counted in the state’s November 3 general election as requested by The Georgia Star News.
In the two weeks since The Georgia Star News first reported no chain of custody ballot transfer forms have been produced for the more than 500,000 of the 600,000 drop box absentee ballots cast, the 159 counties in the state have made little progress producing the documents. Furthermore, the Secretary of State has shown no interest in providing any assistance to require the counties fulfill the open record requests.
In order to account for the secure whereabouts for absentee ballots left in drop boxes across the state, the Georgia Election Code Emergency Rule approved by State Election Board on July 1, 2020, required that every county is responsible for documenting the transfer of every batch of absentee ballots picked up at drop boxes and delivered to the county election offices with ballot transfer forms. The forms are required to be signed and dated, with time of pick up by the collection team upon pick up, and then signed, dated, with time of delivery by the registrar or designee upon receipt and accepted.

So you're saying there is no requirement for a chain of custody for any ballots.

Okay, lets just say that the evil leftists are actually honest and NO ONE EVER AT ALL CHEATED.
Why, with almost half a million ballots, is Georgia failing to produce the chain of custody ballots?
Is The Georgia News Star an actual paper?
Is this just a democrat evil ruse, or are they (and the RINO's) just openly flaunting the laws?
Is this old news?
DID The Georgia News Star get the chain of custody ballots?

In my opinion it doesn't mater; if the DNC cheated better than the GOP than they still won. The GOP has to do better next time; eather better at persuading people or better at cheating.
I'd venture to say the party that decides to be inclusive rather than feed their special interests won't have to cheat to win next time.

No, I'm saying what I said. I gave you a link to the Rules of the State Elections Board in Georgia.
I summarized for you what the document said. There is no "chain of custody" form mentioned in the Rules, therefore, if that is the description the Georgia Star News used in their FOIA requests, I understand that there was nothing to give.
Also, I noted that the Rules require that on election day, a duly sworn employee of the Elections Board retrieves the ballots from each box (which are under video surveillance) after 7 PM and must swear that the boxes were empty.
The sworn employees of the county handle the absentee ballots as they handle all other ballots.

I looked at this the last time the Georgia Star News made these claims.
Georgia Star News
Georgia Star News is part of a group of "online newspapers" called the Star News Network. There's a Tennessee Star and a Minnesota Star etc. etc. about 7 or 8 of them. All the same format, many of the same stories.
Their claim is and has been that they have requested "chain of custody forms" for ballots placed in authorized drop boxes by voters and that so far they haven't gotten as many of those as they think they should have gotten. I'm assuming through an FOIA request. (Georgia FOIA Laws).
Of course, all we have is the claim from Georgia Star News that they made these requests and that no information was forthcoming.
Here are the relevant regulations: Rules of the State Elections Board - Absentee Voting
As you can see, there are requirements for where the drop boxes are located, that they must be video recorded constantly but there is no requirement for a "chain of custody form" in this document. The people who open the boxes at 7 PM on Election Day are sworn employees of the Elections Board and must swear that they have recovered all ballots from the box.
I conclude that since there doesn't seem to be a "chain of custody form" there's no way that the counties could provide them.
In short, in my opinion, it's pure BS.

Our wise friend Gryphon says the forms don't exist and yet 1/3rd of the counties produced the document according to the report.
Now I'm so confused.

How do you figure the "DNC" cheated in Georgia? You have county and State officials who are handling these elections as they always have. Many of them are Republicans and Trump supporters. How is it that you believe that some how "DNC" operatives were able to do all this cheating?
