Detroit sues BLM for protests

Saw this about the BLM, Detroit is being sued by protestors and they are counter suing.

The City of Detroit’s top attorney said he was “pleased to hear” that injured protesters filed a federal lawsuit against city officials and police on Monday because now the city plans to sue demonstrators.

“The litigation will provide the City an opportunity to counter with our own suit — to stop further violations of law and to hopefully reduce the assaults on police officers,” Lawrence Garcia, the City’s corporation counsel, said in a statement.

The Mayor and Liberal media in Detroit are slamming the messenger here too. I can't imagine they would do the right thing. They will stick to the playbook and pretend the BLM was legit and the Lead counsel is out of step with the citizens on this. Idiot Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich chimed in also. Oh the liberal tears.

It’s an unusual claim because a vast majority of the protesters have been peaceful, and even Mayor Mike Duggan and police Chief James Craig have blamed “outside agitators” on the rare cases of violence against police.

Garcia made another unfounded claim, saying protesters are “not about raising awareness around legitimate racial justice concerns.”

Detroits lead Attorney replied

“Wearing a bullet-proof vest to a protest shows a certain desire and intent,” Garcia said in a statement. “What is going on nowadays is more about provocation and public nuisance than bringing power to the people.”

This is what the courts are for ... adjudication based on the evidence.

I'm not concered so much about BLM (as there are many versions of the idea) but I willl be interested to see information on those few who instigated the violence.

Or, they could throw the people burning things down and looting in prison and toss away the key. Make sure to put them in solatary confinement for the first year so their chaotic personalities would be broken. Then, the peaceful protestors views would be better accepted and our society can transition to the better.

People who believe that violent protests accomplish anything are idiots, they drive people farther apart. They make people more polarized, they do not bring the countries people together.

Don't fall for the ruse.

So three of the most succesful Lawyers who stand up for Justice are a side show to you. I am not surprised totally by that. Saddened maybe that you will try to justify ignorance of their work or somehow this time they are foolish for standing up for what you don't believe, the truth.

I suppose you can tell me how many times they won and can prove your 60 times ? I am sure you can find half of that if you tried you could find the other half and be forced to admit you are wrong. I am not asking for a miracle, just be real about those past successes. The Mafia wasn't too real at first about them either. But it didn't work out too well for them in the RICO cases.

Powell was mad that people wouldn't buy her book before all this, much less her embarrassing display during the Trump years. But maybe after coming out as a complete buffoon, people will finally take interest. Worked for Trump anyway. She can finally sell some books. People love reality TV posing as real life. After bringing some 60 lawsuits, and even offering financial incentive for information about fraud, Mr. Trump and his allies have failed to prove definitively any case of illegal voting on behalf of their opponent in court — not a single case of an undocumented immigrant casting a ballot, a citizen double voting, nor any credible evidence that legions of the voting dead gave Mr. Biden a victory that wasn’t his.

Now, I'm no soothsayer, but I anticipate your likely response: "har har New York Times fake news" so why don't you do your part and prove to us all the cases that Guiliani/Powell/Wood, et. al. have won.

So ... you can't prove what cases were won on Trump's behalf in regard to the election? Why not?
