You do realize the parked google photo is at an angle and the stripe runs the entire length of the side, terminating on the driver side rear, correct?

ITS NOT THE SAME RV.
the RV depicted in the photo released by law enforcement has a single horizontal pin stripe near the roof, along the entire driver’s side of the vehicle: (see the pin stripe along the edge of the roof)
While the RV parked at the residence of Anthony Quinn Warner — whom the FBI is publicly calling a suicide bomber — has two pin stripes along the driver’s side:
In other words, anyone who can count to two can also see that this isn’t the same RV. The red outline square in the two images above also shows a key difference in the appearance of another feature — possibly a vent — that looks completely different in the two photos.
In other words, it’s not the same RV.

I think you'll appreciate this:

Feds investigate evidence Nashville bomber hunted ‘lizard people,’ other alien beings:
WKRN: Feds Investigate...

Federal investigators are looking into evidence the Antioch man who detonated a bomb in downtown Nashville Christmas morning had spent time hunting for alien life forms in a nearby state park and was interested in “lizard people,” according to law enforcement sources.

You are mistaking a shadow for a stripe.

That would be a damn good indication its a different RV. Those aren`t plasti-dipped on where one could just peel it off when they felt like it. You`d have to sand it off then re-paint, not a cheap endeavor.

End like what? The top "stripe" is actually the upper edge of the camper. You can't make out the true edge because the side and top are the same color in the same light. The edge is shadowed by a lip. Look at the other pics from in his yard coming down the street the other direction on google street and you will see the same shadow "stripe" on the top, but because the light source was slightly less on the passenger side you can more easily make out the edge between top and side.

The small black box next to the second side window is also shadow. As you can see in the CCTV video the white vent is higher than the window corner. When in shadow the shadow drops below and now looks like a black box that is sitting level with the window next to it. It's all shadows.

Pay attention to the shadows cast by the ladder on the back and it will start to make sense.

You can go to google maps and see for yourself its a stripe, street view gives you nice angles of the RV in question before all this happened. Its a different RV.

Lol I just told you to look at Google street in the post you just replied to....

Do you think this second stripe is directly along the very top edge of the RV? Because the lower stripe is the correct stripe. Just measure the distance between windows and top and you will see this is not a stripe at all. It's the edge of camper in shadow; just like the ladder rungs and the vents.

Go to this RV sales page and look at the pic for the driver's side of this Four Winds Chateau Sport which is a similar model to the one used in Nashville.

www.lazydays.com...

Notice the lip along the very top? See where the lip ends at the backend roll? That is what is causing a shadow that you and others are mistaking as a stripe. The roll at the back is why the "stripe" at the top ends sooner than the real stripe at the bottom.

Finding the VIN among all the damage this quickly, reminds me of finding a driver's license of a hijacker in the Towers collapse. Possible but doubtful.

It's possible as the VIN is located on several parts of the vehicle that aren't easily blasted away during an explosion such as the axles and engine block.

It's how they identified the World Trade Center bomber and OKC.

It's a rain gutter/rail .... can't tell from the distance, but there could be bolt holes for an awning that attaches to that "rail"

first thing i thought of was trim to cover overlap for roof skin. then i remembered that they use to use thin aluminum gutters on some RV to hold roof skins down like on old mobile homes.

trying to find a better image of the ones the cops released that not as grainy as the one from alex jones, and make some screen shots.

if you zoom in you can see spots of a dark thin line above the big one.

Actually, that's not exactly accurate. There is only one "VIN" number on the vehicle (where ever it's placed). Some have two locations, but that's not the point. The numbers on other components of the vehicle are "serial numbers". A serial number does not equal a VIN number. A VIN number is unique and discrete to the vehicle. VIN numbers are easily destroyed. However, there are parts of a vehicle which have serial numbers. If you can combine a few serial numbers from a few parts like an engine block, or an axle, or brake drums, or, or, or...(things which don't blow up or melt easily) you can back into a VIN number.

That's how they do it, FWIW.

ETA - A VIN number = the final "assembly" of the entire vehicle. An individual part will not have a VIN number because it is just a part of the "assembly". However, some individual parts will have a unique "serial number" which identifies that specific part individually. Hence, being able to back into a VIN number with a collection of unique serial numbers.

Make sense now?

What ever you want to call it whether VIN, Partial VIN, UID or Serial it will still all lead back to the same place which is a vehicle they will match with a current owner.

actually there are multiple vin numbers location.

What Is A VIN?
If you can understand how the VIN identifies an RV/trailer then you will always be able to select (for rental/lease/purchase) the correct make and model year for the RV or trailer of your dreams. The VIN identifies the model year and serial number of a particular RV or towable trailer. Most of us think of a vehicle identification number (VIN) as just a series of random characters. However, each character in this highly structured code actually has its own meaning. In fact, deciphering these codes is a hobby for some car enthusiasts, including collectors who want to own one of the first or last cars to come off an assembly line. The NHTSA, National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, defines the VIN format for all classes of vehicles. Today's standard VIN is 17 characters long but, for vehicles manufactured before 1981, shorter VINs were used. The VIN is typically located just above the bottom edge of the driver's side of the dashboard, just under the windshield. An interesting fact is that these numbers are also located throughout the vehicle in order to prevent the sale of stolen parts.

What Are Some Of The Common Locations For The VIN? -
Firewall of the vehicle -
Radiator support bracket -
Left hand inner wheel arch -
Steering column -
Guarantee & Maintenance Book -
Machined pad on front of engine -
Driver's door or post on passenger side - C
omponent parts; such as engine, frame, etc.
