The alternate plans are more disruptive, because they expose criminal behavior,

More likely they will find another weak excuse, just like they did with the big Texas vs GA-PA-WI-MI case.
If it was "frivolous", the SCOTUS would say so...or maybe not. They're turning out to be pretty wimpy.

The FBI investigated his finances remember as part of another case. also they investigated his finances before he was sworn in as president.
