Of course he is, unless you're rich.

I don't need a religious exemption. The person that comes at me
with a needle will die. Same goes for my family, No infant part
injections for me. Hideous wicked weird people inhabit this place.

Keep away.

Given that they have research out now showing that people of strong faith who regularly took part in religious activities weathered this past year with the best mental health outlooks, the churches and other places of worship should have been deemed essential.

But again, that's what happens when you have atheists in charge. They don't understand how religion is anything other than a convenient political dodge.

Its like that scene from Serenity when Shepard book was dying and told Mal I dont care what you believe just believe... with nothing to believe in besides themselves they have a hard time dealing with something they cant see, cant run from and cant fight.

Amendment 1 of the Bill of Rights

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Bold is mine.

There is going to come a time, I believe, that the infringement of religious freedom will become an issue.

Regardless if it comes from local, state, federal levels, we all might have to make a choice.

Make a stand. (nod to S. King)

Will you stand for the Constitution that clearly states that government cannot dictate religious beliefs, or will you obey the government?

Me?

I'll stand by and for the Constitution.

It has to be.
I read all 3 Books.
I know how this story ends.
NO SPOILERS.

We will have to become like the Ahmish and make our own communities if we do not take the vaccines. Then our communities will grow and prosper once all of the people who take too many vaccines lose their immune systems totally and cannot be helped any more.

I think it is a great idea myself, we can make rules that political lying is illegal and phone scam calls cannot be answered. I wonder if AT&T would give us our own network that just interconnects our own people. Anyone trying to scam people for gain of wealth or prestige in the medical field could be banished from our cities or face being hung on a pole in a corn field chasing away crows till their sentence is fullfilled.

You are forgetting the 2nd clause of that amendment. prohibiting the free exercise thereof. And there's this clause in Revelation they are going to have to fight tooth and nail to get past.

Revelation 13

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I would still say a government mandated vaccination qualifies for this. Even if not in the hand or forehead. But because of line 17.

Ending religious exemptions for vaccinations

Moderna reports significantly higher risk of common side effects
5,052 vaccine recipients suffered a "health impact event" as of Dec. 19
CDC defines "health impact event" as one that renders a patient "unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from doctor or health care professional"
That's a rate of about 2.3% of vaccine recipients
CDC says a severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, was reported in 6 patients
Both vaccines are effective at reducing the risk of symptomatic COVID-19 for at least 14 days (Moderna) or more than two months (Pfizer-BioNTech)
It's impossible to know how effective the vaccines are beyond the number of days they've been given to humans. It's also impossible to know this soon what are the potential long term side effects, if any.

I'll stand by refusing to get poked.

Yeah, we're not flat out refusing ever, but we're more than happy with letting the rest of the population serve as test guinea pigs if they are so keen to get it.

We feel the risks outweigh the benefits as COVID stands. We might feel differently after a while, but right now? Yeah ... you first is the attitude.

Still don’t get it....if those frightened of the ‘deadly virus’
are vaccinated, they’re protected, right?

So why would government even ponder forcing it
on everyone?

Maybe they aren’t ‘the government’?

Seems to be catching.
One big psychological black operation.
Are we conditioned to sufficiently loathe ourselves yet?

I mean...I watched the whole Biden minority pow wow,
an hour forty., yesterday. I became sick to my stomach.
Almost dizzy. As sick as I ever was, actually.

Since doctors don’t seem even to know what to look for
these days, unless it’s ‘covid’, I tend to heal myself.
I admit...I appeal to God. I also use medicines.
Works for me.

Funny thing is....there seems to be talk on the streets that
medicines are being discontinued.
Even ‘essential’ ones, as listed by the WHO.
This really gets my goat.

It’s gonna get messy.
This Biden thing is gonna get messy as puke
on a Ferris wheel.

It was like being watching a virtue signaling race riot
on Hollywood Squares.

Surely minorities are not so easily duped?

Are y’all?

I was insulted by the tone, the bluster, the bragging;
by the stammering
of undeserved unearned power.

But they sure are counting on it, even threatening
with projected increases in incoming demographics,
affirmative action troops,
so we’d better get wid it, right?

They are counting on you, minorities,
to grab hold of this insulting incentive.
Just let them think for you and it’s all good.
Because you ain’t black if you think otherwise.

Oh, and climate change is disproportionately
targeting the black, poor neighborhoods more than
it is affecting the rich smart kids in clean and prosperous neighborhoods!
So...reparations. How could a person of color resist such temptation?

Straight from the jackass’s mouth.

My take is that Biden doesn’t want the crooked gig, and is therefore acting
as flagrantly racist as possible to send a subliminal concession
SOS, as to avoid the prosecutions to come.

Nevermind, I looked it up ... so Christian Scientists and a few small end-of-time groups object to vaccination.

Good enough. I can't see that would be a widespread issue.

I am in favor of the legitimate application of Amendment I to protect genuinely held religious beliefs.

Already happened in NY. The communists running the state banned religious exemptions for school vaccines last year.

You make it something required and then tie it to resumption of normal life -- buying and selling -- and you'll see a whole lot of groups object on religious ground where they wouldn't otherwise, and for the same reason a poster upthread already brought up.

If that were the case, I wouldn't want to touch it with a 10' pole myself.

There's no basis for the Federal government to require any vaccine, therefore the question is left to the states, and state law varies according to the preferences of the people in that State, usually requiring kids to be vaccinated and in some cases healthcare workers.

What are you referring to with refusal to recieve a vaccine resulting in not being able to buy and sell?

I recognize the reference to Revelations, the "Mark of the Beast" and so forth ... but ... what are you talking about specifically?

Some politicians (no I am not going to dig it up, have a sick wife and kid today so only have minutes of free time at a go) have floated the idea of mandating it to be able to do anything.

The whole papers please line from indiana jones, no vaccine no airplane flight, no vaccine no entrance into federal buildings etc.
