the new electric Lexus in Japan goes for 12 million yen now

Problem being that they want to remove all fossil fuels, but they don't want to go nuclear. So we'll have a lot of electric cars and windmills that can't power them.

You know, after reading the UK will go all electric after 2030 on their automobiles, I got to wondering.........how much energy will it take to recharge all those batteries everyday as opposed to how much energy it takes to fuel the existing gasoline fleet? Just how cost effective, how carbon neutral will this really be?
