The latest poll shows the Republican Senate candidates in Georgia both down by at least 5 Points each.

I get the feeling President Trump does not mind. He likes many Democratic proposals more than Republican proposals... especially when it comes to the generosity of spending to help US citizens.

Bernie Sanders is a prime example. Were it not for him, millions of self-employed Americans would not be receiving unemployment, due to receiving less Revenue because of the shutdowns.

President Trump appreciated Bernie putting that clause in the unemployment section of the covid-19 rescue bill back in March.

Republicans were angry at Bernie Sanders for doing so.

and trump vetoed the bill. now it goes back to congress and will need 2/3rds to override it. main reason for veto is section 230 was not revoked

$2500 a month tax free until the pandemic is over and backdated to when people got the $1200 stimulus check.

The point here is that it is not the American Taxpayers responsibility to give money to all these foreign countries. And fir stupid stuff. It’s so banal what our Congress people have been doing in our name and with our money ( which they print out of thin air making the value of the dollar go down. It’s a hidden tax. People should study G Edward Griffin on how it works.
Then there was the statement by another poster that other countries are giving 2000$ to their citizens every month. That is pure socialist bunk. It’s not free.... someone has to pay. It is not sustainable and America cannot afford it and should never entertain the thought. Plus the spending bill gives our money to illegals who just come here expecting free stuff. It is so outrageous.

i think that IF all the Pork to other nations/ pet-projects were not in the omnibus part of the 'relief' .... then Trump would not be outraged at the measly $600 --- and the covid relief might have sailed through the oval office

That is: With him vetoing the Defense Authorization Act --- and furthermore...him possibly vetoing the latest stimulus bill --- Would cause absolute chaos and civil strife in the United States and elsewhere; which would give him ample reason to declare martial law and establish himself as dictator-in-chief --- Along with the total destruction of our democracy, by using his goon squads...such as the Department of Homeland Insecurity and his Proud Boys to enforce the possible fascist takeover of the United States.

Democrats introduced an amendment to the stimulus package Thursday morning, after the president called the previously agreed-upon $600 checks a “disgrace.” But Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy blocked the amendment, setting up a scramble to secure a deal before funding runs out. Geraldo Rivera’s beef with Donald Trump continued to grow Wednesday as the Fox News host criticized the president for leaving the American people “adrift” over critical legislation while he jetted off to his Mar-a-Lago resort for the holidays.

“He’s threatening a veto. He’s gone on Christmas holiday. What the hell are we supposed to do now? The president has said this is no good. What about the defense authorization part of this? What about paying the military?” Rivera asked on Fox News’ “The Five.”

“We needed some leadership here,” he said, taking a swipe at Trump’s “farcical” comments Tuesday suggesting he might have a second term as he roasted the $900 billion coronavirus relief bill that Congress had just sent to the White House for his signature.

“More importantly, he’s the leader of the free world. Give us some guidance,” Rivera added.
