Oh boy o boy the new COVID stimulus Bill is chock full of so many goodies nobody can even see some of the COVID relief stuff !!

Some aid to foreign countries. 😈

Continuing Government funding to avoid a shutdown (oh the irony) πŸ˜†

❗️❗️ Total 2.3 Trillion $$$ ❗️❗️ and all you get is $600 ❗️❗️

What's your best favorite pork part?

Congressional leaders on Sunday reached a deal on a roughly $900 billion coronavirus relief package after a half-year of stalemate, securing another tranche of aid as a surge in COVID-19 infections threatens to further derail the nation's sputtering economy.

If passed by the House and Senate on Monday as expected, the legislation would extend aid to millions of Americans still reeling from the pandemic by providing a fresh round of stimulus checks, enhanced unemployment benefits and money for small businesses, as well as new funding for struggling industries, tax breaks, vaccine distribution and education and health care.

The bipartisan, bicameral proposal β€” intended to blunt the continued economic fallout from the virus-induced crisis β€” will be combined with $1.4 trillion in spending to fund government operations for the rest of the fiscal year, meaning the total package costs about $2.3 trillion.

So, how do I get part of this stimulus?

My family was left in the dirt before.

Or is it hush hush now? "Essentials" only?

Is this that 6,000 page bill?

"Gotta pass it to find out what's in it" ... ring familiar?

What's really instore ... breadlines by May 2021.

Stock up on food and water. If you own a business, time to buy that plywood.

I live in a town here and I see the effects of closed businesses that are even 3 generations old. I call it the " New Dead Zone " previously known as the Downtown district.

So the average working man gets half of what the last "stimulus" gave him and let's do the math. $600 would last the average American family maybe a two weeks if they lived in flyover USA. We've been at this fake virus BS for what, almost a year now? Me and mine are fine, as we prepared for events like this, but the average Joe living paycheck to paycheck and small business is straight up f'd.

Pretty sure it said anyone making more than 75k gets nothing but the bill.

The issue for my folks was, that they had to pull money out of retirement and something else which is counted as income. They needed it to pay medical bills for my father who is going through chemo.

But because they pulled money because collectors were harassing them, they no longer qualify for benefits or stimulus. Even though both are past the age of working and on disability

Edit: As with the post above mine, government recorded income isn't accurate. These things are not thought through

I’ll never see a penny of it.

Glad people are getting something.

It’s very rough on many people.

My bet is there is all kinds of bad "take away our freedoms" stuff hidden in this bill, along with the pork.

It is a huge bill, who knows what's in it. I hope Trump vetoes it.

Don't forget that Pelosi referred to the $1200 per adult as "crumbs" but pats herself on the back for giving each adult a "significant" $600 in this stimulus... Never mind that they are giving twice that amount to other countries....

Here is some of the pork in the bill. This is why people are fed up...

Ridiculous Pork in Stimulus Bill

Family members of illegal aliens get stimulus. Also retroactive so up to $1800.

$3.3 Billion to Israel

$453 million to Ukraine

$10 million to Pakistan for gender programs. WTF?

$1.3 billion to Egypt.

$700 million to Sudan.

$130 million to Nepal!?

$1.4 billion Asian Reassurance Initiative Act?...

So government shuts down economy. You lose your job and they can throw you a $600 check.... yet they are giving $10 million to Pakistan for gender studies.

We are done as a country.

Amazing times.

All the fraud, all the stupidity, all the ineptitude and all the criminality out in front with yuge spotlights and banners.

The citizens remain silent.

At this point, your only hope is that you live in an area that never shut down beyond the early one.

$193 million to buy new cars for HIV/AIDS workers stationed overseas. More bailout money for the Kennedy Center. Funding to discourage teens from drinking and hooking up. Funds to investigate the 1908 Springfield Race Riot. Funding to educate consumers on the dangers of storing portable fuel containers near open flame. $1.5 million for the Appropriations Committee's Office of Diversity and Inclusion as well as money for their receptions, lots of them.

And the next election will be rinse and repeat.

We keep talking about draining the swamp and we keep putting these same vampires back into office.

You are right. We are done as a country.

Do we?

I think that is a fair question now.

Senate should simply strip out all the fat and send back the clean bill for $600/American and hold up the single page of paper it takes for media affect when they do it.
