See, this thread is about China giving money and business opportunities to politicians and their families, to gain favor from them in the daily business of our nation. if you think that's good, explain why please. if you think it's bad, you can speak on that as well.

Lobbyists were mentioned, and they play a big part in the corruption of politicians. Again, if you see that differently, please say something. If you just want to ramble and troll, you can do that, but everyone sees it. And it's not a really good look. But you do you.

No, you trolled your own thread by suggesting lobbyists should be treated like deer at the local park. I pick you up on your comment and I'm the troll? You always seem to do that when someone doesn't accept everything you say.

Well, the Constitution doesn't really work that way, it's mostly a prohibition on what the government can do to us which is why there needs to be legislation passed that bans lobbying. However our representatives are not going to cut off their gravy train.

Interesting analogy given that the NRA is one of the biggest lobbyists.

What does it say about the US government if you have to Lobby for a constitutional right? Sort of highlights how government can create, or destroy an industry.

The NRA aren't about 'lobbying for a constitutional right', they lobby for more influence on what you spend your money on, I'm sure it's responses like yours that they love.

They are playing the game.

I don't like lobbyists. They pervert the system that was put in place. Money corrupts and I see that as a problem. Now if you feel differently, as I stated, please discuss that. When you come to a thread and just look for small parts of a conversation you can pick apart and complain about it's trolling. I think most of us do it at times. But it's not something you can do, then pretend you didn't. it's in print and forever.

Not really, but until you can separate gun restriction from the 2nd, you can't separate lobbying for firearms from it either.

Gun "restriction" has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment.

IF you are interested in the Fed's power to regulate commerce, that would be Article I.

If you're interested in each State's right to regulate how firearms are licensed, held and purchased, see Amendment X.

If you'd like to know what Justice Scalia thought about the issue, see Heller v. District of Columbia.

As for the OP, which governments are owned by China? It seems as though you were trying to suggest that China is an enemy of America and that if it wasn't for Trump, America would be 'owned' by them. The reality is that Trump decided to indulge in a trade war, guessing that China would crumble and that he would be all powerful (i.e., he would 'own' China).

That didn't work, just added hefty tariffs to both parties and left both sides not wanting to lose face.

Now, could you list all of the governments that are owned by China?

You can separate it right now, the NRA don't want you too though as they would hate to lose any of their profit by claiming you can't.

I don't believe you are being genuine at all here... I also believe you treat politics like sports, meaning, whatever it takes your side to win, you are okay with if the end result means your side is in power... If you cant critically think that China wants Biden over Trump, then there's no more to discuss... Incredible how someone has such blinders on to believe there's no issue with Big Pharm, Wall Street, Big Tech, China and 95% of MSM ALL being behind Biden... We all know Trump wasn't anything close to Hitler 2.0, so that BS can stop... They are all behind Biden and not Trump because Trump isn't one them.. He isn't some establishment politician that wants to bleed the country dry... Which is why Trump is bad for business and must go, regardless of the stock market climbing to record highs and unemployment numbers being at record lows before corona pandemic... Also, I'm against ALL politicians who profit off selling out our country to foreign interests with deep pockets... I am of the belief guys like Mitch McConnell on the right have profited similarly, which is why i want him to go as well.. If this country unifies, it should be on the basis of ridding out career politicians on both sides of the aisle who don't have our interests at heart. Things like Term limits at every level comes to mind, but we would need to unify and stop allowing the MSM/politician's to divide us. Cause its working beautifully..
