Japan just prints more money and adds it to their national debt.
They keep their interest rates low on government bonds and hold the debt on their own government balance sheet.
So everybody gets the same low synthetic rate you might ask.
No consumers pay and banks collect 24% or more on some consumer debt.

Last year some of this made the news as banks had limits on overnight lending swaps at the .75% rate and were offering private investors 3% to 5% for CD's and money market which was above the official lending rate.

So even if the national debt is earmarked for default in 5 to 20 years it could be financed at a low synthetic interest rate without any real bondholders other than the US government. One US dollar was worth 84 Japanese Yen back in 1995 and it is only worth 103 Yen now so Japans national debt expansion hasn't affected their currency that much.

If the Military had to step in and arrest people for govt corruption, they would probably have to arrest EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM, BOTH PARTIES. The rot is just that bad at this point. So that's what the President has been up to.

He's kept a very low profile over the last few weeks. Perhaps he's getting his cabinet and policies ready for the next four years.

If our government and military are unable to fix this I fear that the ppl will take it into their own hands and do what is right.
