Actually I sometimes have strange occurrences happen. Had one some months ago. Seems like it took at least a hundred years off my life in a mere few hours. Don't know what it was about, something about a death contract. And just barely healing for that, even though the scars will stay with me for life.

But aliens? Ah! They come and go.

Let's postulate that when a human dies, some 'EM remnant' survives, and perhaps congregates with similar remnants or with other life forms.

If that were true, we'd be 'punking ourselves' with 'UFOs' more than anything.

That would explain ALL the erratic behavior.

Just for the record, "EM residue" needn't have anything to do with 'souls' that people want to believe in.

The 'well of souls' going dry, is a very old concept, and an amusing one.

It's all a matter of how powerful or motivated such weak residues would be.

Now, supposedly, some 'horny or abused youths' can generate quite a bit of
disturbance..

but a floating and confused remnant, wouldn't have much focus or ability to function
one might think.. unless a powerful human stirred them into action.

But this is all QUITE hypothetical.

As a nuclear engineer of 7 years, I'm quite conversant with basic physics.

I generally put 'EM remnant' in single quotes, to denote it's something like that,
but not that.

As I said, this is all quite speculative.

This stuff is supremely difficult to research

I think they do know what they is, for the most part. I don't think its anything "highly strange."

You'll note that I 'weasel word' with scare quotes or quotes fairly often..
it's not that I'm avoiding intellectual rigor, it's that these are supremely
difficult topics, and it's close to absurd, to even attempt to research them.
