All he did is guess a really easy password. And then let authorities know. He shouldn't recieve any jail time. Better that we learned this than someone with malicious intent who uses the account to tweet out crazy stuff.

This is known as whitehat hacking, basically doing it to prove there is an issue. I dont think the guy should be punished, the damage to Trump could have been far worse. Imagine if you will he started posting some negative stuff. He could have. He should get a thank you and call it that. no need to turn a white hat dark.
