Certainly this may be the case as you describe. Yet, the town council there says that he is legally not allowed to live there according to the contract he signed in 93. So how it plays out is how it will play out, right?

NO. I"m not in favor of locking him up at all. Rather let him twist on the spire of his own petard which is his Art of the Deal. If the contract he signed in 93 proves water tight then let him find a Florida apartment somewhere, a nice one with a pool maybe and a putting green.

Other than that I do not think that the incoming administration should pursue legal avenues to punish him. Let the State of New York and others that want to bring civil suits against him try their best.

Thinking on it, it might be insightful having Trump living next door, of course out where I live that would have to be my only neighbor. We could get together a couple of times a week in his garage, toss a couple of logs in his stove and light one up.
It could be interesting to talk with him on a ''local level'' and see if he could converse on a higher philosophical level than just the rote conservative mantra he is known for .

No he didnt i looked at the agreement the restrictions mentioned has to do with members. There was several restrictions placed on members including 50 percent of the members have to be from palm beach. Some have access to the club wthout being a member because they live along the access route. No where that I could find does it say someone cant live there in fact its the oppisit if he chooses he can close the club and turn it into a single family residence. This would be far worse for pakm beach since they loose the revenue stream.

The area they quote in the article has to deal with 10 guest rooms created for club use and the entire estate was not included in the contract. Currently there are areas there guests cannot enter as it is deemed private quarters. This agreement never had total control over the property only how the club would be run.


This is why im sure palm beach is going to ignore the residence complaint. By the way its 2 individuals that are trying to get palm beach to stop him from living there. They complained about traffic and the problems caused by the secret service.

So you guys can read his agreement as well i will include it as i said i couldnt find this magical passage that doesnt allow someone to live on property they own.

A country in which people have rights, and no one can take away those rights from others because they have different political opinions...
