Yes, presidents lie. I noticed that. On this we agree. Biden's blatant lying scuppered his previous presidential campaign and should have been the end of his political career.

But we won't get leaders any better than we deserve by defending their BS.

There are decent respected leaders in other countries.

Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand (26 deaths from covid), Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Prime Minister of Iceland (10 deaths from covid, no lockdowns), Tsai Ing-wen, Prime Minister of Tiawan (7 deaths from covid, no lockdowns).

Three democracies with three poplular and trusted female leaders who have been phenomenally successful in managing the pandemic.

Shouldn't we demand the same, instead of making excuses for Trump?

In Iceland, they do not include a death in covid figures if the person did not die as a direct result of covid or if the covid contributed to the death. That I read from an article of Iceland. This whole pandamic response in this country was bad, the CDC and Washington tried to correct it but the governors in many states did not follow their directions either way. It was not Trump's fault, he tried to stop the overreaction but that triggered the Dems and media to go opposite of him.

I blame this mess on the governors of many states. If they would have relaxed this in the summer when not many other seasonal diseases are around, it would have resulted in more herd immunity with hardly any deaths. Our governor sentenced a lot of people to death this winter by not allowing it to spread in the summer then tighten things down again in the middle of November to stop the fatalities. Now there are going to be more serious diseases because a governor who probably did lousy in science is using cherry picked specially gathered evidence to screw things up. Her hand picked specialists who she picked because they agree with her have little common sense and cannot see anything other than what they are focusing on. I think Trump did way better then Whitmer or Coumo on the virus. I do agree that now the risk is higher, social distancing should be observed and I never actually was against masks being worn in stores.

Researchers at the University of Oxford world seem to disagree with that assessment.

They said '... when used with very sick patients'...

It has never been recommended as a cure for those who are very sick. It is recommended as a very early treatment at the early onset of symptoms.

Stop being disingenuous.
