Except it's not what they claimed it was. The cold weather training consisted of one Chinese instructor and one student going through the Canadian training. That's directly from the badly redacted document that they cited as being something much more sinister. As for the pilots, they're commercial pilots being trained by a Canadian flight school. A lot of flight schools are training foreign pilots for various airlines.

There would still be obvious preparations going on that would be seen at the carriers. At least three won't be available until after the new year at the earliest. One of those three won't be ready until 2022. One of the "available" ones is about to go into a five year overhaul.

Falcon airfield is where a lot of them take flight school. I have a buddy who works ATC there. He has some pretty funny stories about the Chinese guys out there.

They deploy silently overnight and you dont realise until after they are gone.

He wasnt in the miltary so that left him essentially the only male there.

That's the government that kills dissidents in public, supports terrorism, participates in slavery, and opresses their own people.

Also, I believe Trump got out of the Iran deal because he said he could make a better one, but never did!

I don't understand how people think Trump is much different from POTUS' of the past. He changed very little, created more civilian deaths via drones, and praised North Korea's brutal dictator.

Of eleven CVN carriers six are docked in their home port, one is in the Middle East, and two each are in the Atlantic and Pacific performing normal maneuvers such as pilot certification. Of the ten Amphibious Ready Groups, each with an LHD (small carrier), seven are in home port (including the disabled USS Bon Homme Richard), one is in the South China Sea, one is in the Atlantic, and one is in the Pacific.

These deployments are PERFECTLY NORMAL in every respect. Indeed, they are a bit on the light side. To cite these deployments as any sort of "evidence" for a coming military operation simply betrays your ignorance.

I would agree but even you don't know what is happening right now. The military does not broadcast their carrier ops like they used to. They could all be loading up for war right now while in port.

Carriers are hard to hide. We know where they are. Indeed, since I wrote the above most have returned to home port. Right now the ONLY deployed carriers are:

CVN-68 USS Nimitz in the Middle East.
CVN-71 USS Roosevelt off the Pacific Coast

Of the LHD Amphibious Ready Groups

LHD-2 USS Essex in in the Pacific
LHD-7 Iwo Jima is in the Atlantic
LHD-8 USS Makin Island is in the Indian Ocean

NINE of ELEVEN Carriers are in Port.

So what's the issue here? At first it was claimed that the Carriers are out of port, therefore they must be preparing to invade the US. Now the claim is that if they in port, they must be loading up in preparation.

That's about the poorest evidence I have ever seen.

Looked like Roosevelt was playing by the Channel Islands the last couple of days. Caught a couple C-2s, then yesterday evening the Omega KDC-10, two Hunters, and a Kfir were flying around that area. Might have been other ships exercising, but with the C-2s it was probably Roosevelt before she heads to WESTPAC.

Hence the "so that part is out the window" about the carriers. I didn't even begin to imply that one point being invalidated made the entire post invalid, so don't even try that crap.

But there are other points that are not what you're implying they are as well. SOCOM reporting to the SecDef isn't what you're implying either. It's actually a good thing that it's happened, because it adds oversight from a civilian instead of the military. If you haven't been watching lately, SOCOM is expanded pretty significantly, and has been running rampant doing basically whatever they want. There have been charges of murder, war crimes, and more raised against SOCOM lately. By having them report directly to SecDef, he has a hand in determining training and equipping of SOCOM, instead of having to go through a policy department at the Pentagon that can snowball him.
