No I didn't just skim. I actually agree with a lot of what you said. However, the stone houses were those of royalty, not commoners. Commoners lived in thatched huts made from clay and straw.

If they're able to finance their own things now, it's because of the structures we (first world countries) built and the money we gave. Think about it... If Africa is capable of building cities like first world countries, why are they just now able to finance railways and energy projects?

If Europe or America is so great why are these non Africans flocking to Africa.

Why aren't African-Americans doing the same thing?

It's because of your not so hidden hostility towards them, that is the problem, your newly arrived Nigerian is flushed with the idea of an idealized version of America, so they are less suspecting of negative attempt to hinder them which is both bad and good.

You're too funny. You don't know me. You don't have a clue how I treat people.

I think you meant to say that those Nigerians aren't Paranoid and don't hate White People.

You hit the nail on the head.

"Revisionist history".... Meanwhile you've been trained to believe today's history books. Learn what "Revisionist" means.

Trained to believe the history books? Opposed what? YouTube? Lol.

Once again, your party is not the party of Lincoln. Nothing you watch on YouTube will change that historical fact.

I've never once said my party is the party of Lincoln. Lincoln isn't the saint he's made out to be in your revisionist history. He sent word that all slaves below the states bordering the Mason-Dixon would be free if they made it north of the Mason-Dixon, then his soldiers captured them and used them to mend clothing, make clothing, cook, and take care of the Union soldiers. He demoted one of his leaders for suggesting the freed men fight for them, and after finally allowing it, he imprisoned or killed the freed men who questioned why they weren't getting paid what the other soldiers were getting paid. His vision was to send the blacks off to South America or repatriate them to Liberia, but he wanted them to be free when they were sent off. He said they weren't intelligent enough to hold a political office and they were never to intermarry with white people. Your party celebrates this man, and he is by no means my party. Your history has diluted him so much you think he started the Civil War to free slaves.

My history books are all from a time when the truth wasn't changed to appease the offended. The internet, Youtube, etc., was unheard of back then.

The other thing people have yet to consider is that paying out a ransom won't fix anything. Money isn't a solution to problems.

In most cases, the problems these people live are caused by more than just money or a lack of it, and once they spend the check, we'll be right back where we started.

Preach it, sister! Money will never solve this issue. The democrats knew it wouldn't, they knew it would cause chaos and division. Now look at all the people claiming that a check in their hand is the only way to solve this problem (which actually isn't a problem). Why don't we ever see Irish people screaming for a check? Why don't we ever see Jewish people screaming for a check? Everyone has ancestors that were wronged. I guess letting the past go and moving forward with life isn't the way to go about this.

I think your toxic hypocrisy with its hidden undertones of actual racism is worse than Covid-19, because the virus only kills a small percentage of the country, whereas your poisonous ideology kills the entire country if not argued with.

Thanks for your opinion.

Unfortunately, if you look close, you'll see that more than 60 people agree with me.

Do you just make this stuff up as you go?

Yes, it is unfortunate, but to be expected considering the alt - right nature of the message board you posted the thread.

Funny how I , a black person, has only ever had the discussion about reparations when non blacks complain about it.

Interesting.

Like I said most of those cities predates European contacts with their own infrastructure, later to be improved upon by Euro-American technologies, but they did not sit around waiting for outsiders to do for them, some of the richer folks did lived better than the average sud busters , living in the same conditions as medieval Europeans who often times lived worst than they , rich Africans had indoor plumbing through gravity drains, with bathrooms on the 2nd floors the ,bussiness end deep beneath the first floor, filled with pebbles flushed with hot water and aromatic herbs to break up stench ..welcome to the middle ages , but that's not what is usually show cased when dealing with ancient and medieval Africa,
Benin city

“It seemed to be very big, when you go into it, you enter a great broad street, which is not paved, and seems to be seven or eight times broader than the Warmoes street in Amsterdam [the capital of Holland]. The street is straight, and does not bend at any point. It is thought to be four miles long.
‘At the gate where I went in on horseback, I saw a very big wall, very thick and made of earth, with a very deep and broad ditch outside it… And outside the gate there is also a big suburb. Inside the gate, and along the great street just mentioned, you see many other great streets on either side, and these are also straight and do not bend…

‘The houses in this town stand in good order, one close and evenly placed with its neighbor, just as the houses in Holland stand… They have square rooms, sheltered by a roof that is open in the middle, where the rain, and wind and light come in. The people sleep and eat in these rooms, but they have other rooms for cooking and different purposes…
‘The king’s court is very great. It is built around many square-shaped yards. These yards have surrounding galleries where sentries are always places. I myself went into these court far enough to pass through four great yards like this, and yet wherever I looked I could still see gate after gate which opened into other yards....'

But how do you satisfy an entitled group who have been told that everything wrong in their lives is because of racism?

They cant make it on their own. they need guidance. handouts and special treatment.

If they act out, nothing to see. They have an excuse

I guess the same way you satisfy slave owners with reparations, yes like I said earlier slaver owners got Reparations.

Georgetown Students Vote to Pay Reparations

The measure calls for the university to start with a fee of $27.20 per semester in the fall of 2020, "in honor of the 272 people sold by Georgetown," referring to the slaves sold by Jesuits to finance the university in its early days. The resolution says that proceeds from the fund "will be allocated for charitable purposes directly benefiting the descendants of the GU272 and other persons once enslaved by the Maryland Jesuits -- with special consideration given to causes and proposals directly benefiting those descendants still residing in proud and underprivileged communities."

The United States gave Reparations to their Slave owners early on.
But that 40 acres and mule got trashed immediately.

The native Americans got reparations in the form of casinos.

The African American community look to be getting reparations in the form of weed.

There are some Democrats that want to legalize marijuana and give the business over to them

Pretty funny

Yeah except that's not reparations, that's a business chance especially to those who were incarcerated heavily for selling, but punished in numbers way above other groups, this same mischaracterized info about anti- poverty measures in the past , not meant for just AAs but all those includes the poor among them.

The reason why there more blacks are arrested for weed than whites. Easy.

A majority of white people avoid smoking weed or dealing drugs in public.
They are overly discreet.

Blacks are the opposite. They smoke in public and deal drugs on pubic streets. Looks bad.

In NYC courts you will see a black teenager show up for a weed ticket and given multiple chances and warnings before the judge reacts.

They can show up to court 4 times a year before the judge reacts. I've given you 3 warnings, now you give me no choice.

First, I think you're going to hear a lot more of the phrase 'Centrist' now the Trump is gone in about a month.

Second, you must have not read the first page of this thread or you would have seen what I posted and linked about halfway down the page.

If you read that, you'll see I'm only responding to others.
