No telling whose or how many lives it may save. All I know is I asked her about the treatment protocol and it's mostly Remdesivir. We are also at full capacity in our ICU and have a record number of deaths in the last month. The entire triage and treatment system seems geared toward creating infections and making them worse to the point of mortality. Maybe it's the only way the hospital can afford to operate given the ban on medical procedures.

Better than any drug, maybe... but not better than high dose IV vitamin C, and that doesn't have any nasty side effects (though it does have lots of very positive side effects).

My understanding is that such claims are almost meaningless, due to the fact that most hospitals are virtually almost always at capacity with ICU beds, for the simple reason that it is not profitable to have a bunch of ICU hospital beds sitting around not being unused.

Yes, which means, our current system needs to be completely and totally dismantled, and rebuilt from scratch, such that it only profits and thrives when people are healthy.
