Gaslighting Works - Get Off My Lawn

So I'm looking at this article on the web, and recognize the juvenile brilliance of gaslighting. This was obviously a goal of dumbing down our citizenry ... reducing the ability to think critically ... so they could get half the population to fall for whatever argument they wanted to support. You slap your forehead and walk away from ID10TS if you've got half a brain, but what we fail to recognize are the amount of stoopid people we're surrounded by. Remember, though, the average IQ is 100 ... and, half the people you meet are gonna be dumber than that.

Somebody somewhere knows something. Perimeter fencing is going up like crazy.

I know this, I've been talking to everyone in my neighborhood about sticking together if someone else runs into a problem. Making sure people understand we're stronger than 'them' if we just take care of each other. Most of my neighbors grew up when Civics was still taught in school.

My own personal opinion is: We don't need any cops coming by after. If they're not with us ... then they're not with us.

Passing is not the goal. Starting the dialogue to push an ideology and let it creep into group think to label people in opposition is the goal.

I know a few sand suckers down there that stretch the definition of 10 rounds. As in a 50 round drum for their Thompson.

First off...

The reasoning behind this representative makes me think she's a crackhead.

While I agree a thief doesn't deserve death from the state... Someone breaking and entering in your home is a bit different.

If she had stopped there, it would have been just a dumb argument.

But she went full retard when she tried justifying their carrying of a weapon for self defense... Ma'am, when you're carrying a weapon with the intent to commit a crime, that's on the offense, not defense.

Sounds to me like she just put a huge target on her own home. Go grab you some of her stuff, she won’t shoot you. Hell, she even supports you having a gun while robbing her house.
