I recall seeing a chance to log in at a UK sight - many years back - But chose to ignore such for I feared such as being doubtful. Congrat's and a Cheerful "Thank You", for finally confirming the reality of such.

PS Noted your Shakespeare Location, Greetings from London.......

It was back in 1990 - 80's I first heard of ATS. Did not get into it back then, but knew of bulletin boards about it. Might of ended up like Julian Assange if I did. I don't like seeing him locked up as the assault goes on the messenger rather than the message. I do give ATS a lot of kudos in this zone, worth more than cash.

You feared catching Mad Cow disease?
At least we know how to spell "site". We don't tolerate homophones.

OK, so it was a collaboration of like minded individuals.

I was unawre of Simons' heritage and unselfishness.
Thanks for the effort in making an educational reply.

Wasn't the owner also from the Black Vault? It's been decades but there was some connection that led to ATS and space ships
Just out of curiosity I went to the BV boards www.theblackvault.com... and every forum you click on is a 404.

Yeah just checked it out, wowzers just the same 404'd all through! Being honesta nd realistic not checked out the Vault since maybe eighteen years or something. Was a great site in the internets early days, a little primitive by todays standard but the info all seemed so new and not just re-boxed churned over cases as of today even though they are still interesting for sure. Nevermind the world's moved on and just seen the name Greenwald so my theory of same site owners was just nonsense!

Couldn't have been 80s. Don't think this site existed until sometime in the late 1990s

So typical. The USA invents stuff and then you Brits try to get credit for it.

No, British Politics is less entertaining than U.S politics.

Once Brexit is done, like in 3 weeks time, what will we have left except a bungling P.M, an opposition leader who does not know what he stands for and the Scots crying freedom.

True story. They had the sense to get away, only to be dragged back in, in 1913 with the introduction of the Federal Reserve.
